Marion Mitchell Morrison (May 26, 1907 - June 11, 1979), born Marion Robert Morrison and better known by his stage name John Wayne, was an American film actor, director and producer. He epitomized rugged masculinity and has become an enduring American icon. He is famous for his distinctive voice, walk and height. He was also known for his conservative political views and his support in the 1950s for anti-communist positions.

- I grew up watching John Wane movies like The Alamo, and McLintock! He was one of a kind, no doubt about that. He truly personified the American spirit. Great work on the lens!

- I've seen all of John Wayne's movies and I enjoyed them all. I especially enjoyed the movies Ms. O'Hara co-starred in. Ms. O'Hara had great admiration for J.W. Called him "A real gentleman." You have built a fine lens here. I'll be coming back to see what you add.
