Who is John Grogan?
John Grogan's writing career began while he was in the eighth grade, penning parodies of the nuns just for fun. He wrote for his high school newspaper and started an underground tabloid.
Various experiences on college and small-town newspapers and fellowships eventually led him to the position of metropolitan columnist at the South Florida Sun-Sentinel in Fort Lauderdale, where the subject of his New York Times best-selling book, Marley & Me: Life and Love with the World's Worst Dog (Morrow, 2005), came into the picture.
Mr. Grogan now lives in Pennsylvania, where he writes a column for The Philadelphia Inquirer.

Marley & Me on DVD!
Hollywood actors Owen Wilson, Jennifer Aniston and Alan Arkin star in the big-screen adaptation of John Grogan's best-selling memoir, "Marley & Me," now on DVD!
The story is about a couple who decide to adopt a yellow Labrador retriever to see how they might do as parents before they start having children.
Although they get more than they bargained for when Marley proves to be an uncontrollable ball of energy, the couple also comes to regard the lovable, fiercely loyal canine as an integral member of their family.
"The Devil Wears Prada" director David Frankel directs.
