John Landells

I've been a bit of a techie since I got my first computer at the age of 11 and taught myself to program from the user manual! I progressed from there into a successful career in IT, initially as a programmer but more recently in more customer facing roles.

Over the years, I've found that the technical side of me was simply an asset - it wasn't what defined me. I've developed into a more outgoing person who loves public speaking and marketing and my passion now is producing marketing videos that convert well into sales. Whilst my technical skills are still useful (sometimes I just can't help writing a new program, just for fun!) they're more of a means to and end these days.

I was brought up in a fairly non-religious manner. My mother used to go to the Salvation Army as a child, but my father only saw church as a place for weddings, christenings and funerals! However, my sister and I were brought up with strong work ethics so I always believed that I could do anything that I put my mind to, which led me on a life-long journey of self-development.

Along the way, I started to get the feeling that something was missing in my life (even after I'd married my wonderful wife, Sabine!) and my search eventually led me to God. I'm now a leader in Citifaith Church, Swindon, where I run the media team with responsibility from producing our twice-weekly video webcsats.

In short, I'm a Christian, Husband and Internet Marketer - in that order (I think!).
