John Marshall Jones - foil for the kids
You might remember John Marshall Jones as the doting and long-suffering father on TV's "Smart Guy" or as Frank Hayes on the Sci-Fi show "John Doe". If you didn't watch those, you probably have the same reaction as me - I know him, but I'm not sure why.
Jones has had multiple gigs on television shows ranging from Roseanne to NCIS to Dexter, as well as roles in movies such as White Men Can't Jump and Con Air. But he's back on the small screen as the adult in charge (sort-of) on the new Nickelodeon show "The Troop".
