About Johnny Greenwood

Johnny Greenwood is one of Radiohead's main guitarist. Johnny has also in the past recorded a solo album. Needless to say, his sound is very unique. His pedalboard is equally as unique.

Jonny's pedalboard is actually two pedalboards, placed at angle just like an ergonomic keyboard. Skimming the list, you can quickly tell two things: that Johnny favours dependable BOSS pedals, and that Delay pedals are important (and he requires many of them).

BOSS SD-1 Super Overdrive: The 90's classic yellow alternative-sounding overdrive pedal.
BOSS RV-3 Digital Reverb/Delay: Delay is very important to the Radiohead sound. RV-3's are discontinued, but update RV-5's are available new.
BOSS LS2 Line Selector: The Boss pedals keep stacking up! Works as line selection and power supply.
Marshall ShredMaster: Discontinued distortion pedal.
BOSS FV-300H Volume Pedal: Used to control the gain on the ShredMaster.
Akai Headrush: Fun "Radiohead" effects.

Digitech WH-1 Whammy: This sound can be found on the songs "The Bends" and "Airbag",
Demeter "The Tremulator": Tremulator.
DOD envelope filter: this pedal is responsible for the outro to "Paranoid Android"
