Who is John Titor - Time Traveler Photos

Ranked #288 in Culture & Society, #6,706 overall

Could John Titor have been a real time traveler?

John Titor is the pseudonymn of a person who claimed to be a time traveler from the year 2036. He appeared in Internet chatrooms and on message boards for a few months back in the winter of 2000 to 2001.

Many people believe John Titor's claims could be valid. I am one of those people.

Of course, there are many scoffers too. I will put up with the jeers and go ahead to tell you exactly what I've learned about John Titor - and why I believe this could be a real time traveler.

This image is a photo John Titor sent via the Internet, showing the official insignia of his 2036 time travel military unit.

John Titor's Story

Who was he, really?
What was he doing here?

The Story of John Titor

...who John Titor was and where he came from.

John Titor told us he was born in 1998. He grew up in Florida, participated in a civil war, and was employed by the military in the year 2036.

He wrote, "When I was 13, I was a soldier. As a teenager, I helped my dad haul cargo. I went to college when I was 31 and I was recruited to 'time travel' shortly after that."

He explained, "In 2036, a great deal of effort is going into 'repairing' our environment. I was sent to 1975 to get a computer system and take it back to 2036."

Later he explained more: "The first 'leg' of my trip was from 2036 to 1975. After two VGL checks, the divergence was estimated at about 2.5% (from my 2036). I was 'sent' to get an IBM computer system called the 5100. It was one the first portable computers made and it has the ability to read the older IBM programming languages in addition to APL and Basic. We need they (sic) system to 'debug' various legacy computer programs in 2036. UNIX has a problem in 2038."

From 1975, he decided to travel to the year 2000 where he was living with his parents and his 2-year-old self.

He traveled back in time in a 1967 Chevy - which he sold in the year 2000. He first saw that car in 2036. It was chosen because his first destination was to be 1975 and the car would be inconspicuous for that time period. His new car was a 1987 4WD, which he planned to return to 2036 in.

John Titor described his life in 2036 in many ways. Here is one paragraph from the collected writings: "My greatest joy is sailing. For fun, I enjoy swimming, playing cards, reading, playing games on the net and talking with people who live in other countries. As a community, we celebrate much more and have bon fires and dances. My hobby is sorting through old magazines and videos of life before the war." He was referring to a civil war in the USA culminating in an attack on America by Russia in 2015.

His observations of life in our civilization during the year 2000 were not flattering: "I watch every day what you are doing as a society. While you sit by and watch your Constitution being torn away from you, you willfully eat poisoned food, buy manufactured products no one needs and turn an uncaring eye away from millions of people suffering and dying all around you. . . . Perhaps I should let you all in on a little secret. No one likes you in the future. This time period is looked at as being full of lazy, self-centered, civically ignorant sheep. Perhaps you should be less concerned about me and more concerned about that."

I feel the writings of John Titor are valuable for just that reason, as well as other reasons. Studying what he wrote gives one a chance for introspection, plus gives clues for what we might experience in the near future.

Prophecies of John Titor

...according to his knowledge of our future.

Not all of John Titor's prophecies are included in this list. I include only a few prophecies from the early days of his year 2000 Internet postings. If you want to read his entire collection of writings, please go to my source.

  1. 'A world war in 2015 killed nearly three billion people. The people that survived grew closer together. Life is centered on the family and then the community. I cannot imagine living even a few hundred miles away from my parents.' (November 4, 2000)

  2. '... the ice caps are not melting any faster than they are now. There is also far less smog and industrial waste in 2036.' (November 6, 2000)

  3. 'Life is much more rural in the future but "high" technology is used to communicate and travel. People raise a great deal of their own food and do more "farm" work. Yes, compared to now, we do work long hours.' (November 7, 2000)

  4. 'Yes, there is a post office. The Internet is still alive and well in the future. People spend more time talking because life is more centered on the community. I've noticed the same type of effect here when the power goes off. People tend to come out of their homes and actually spend time with their neighbors. There is a lot more personal trust and less paranoia.' (November 7, 2000)

  5. 'There is a civil war in the United States that starts in 2005. That conflict flares up and down for 10 years. In 2015, Russia launches a nuclear strike against the major cities in the United States (which is the "other side" of the civil war from my perspective), China and Europe. The United States counter attacks. The US cities are destroyed along with the AFE (American Federal Empire)...thus we (in the country) won. The European Union and China were also destroyed. Russia is now our largest trading partner and the Capitol of the US was moved to Omaha Nebraska.' (November 7, 2000)

  6. '[In the future] Hydrogen fuel cells and more efficient solar cells are big deals. Computer technology and software get MUCH better.' (November 7, 2000)

  7. 'After the war, early new communities gathered around the current Universities. That's where the libraries were. I went to school at Fort UF, which is now called the University of Florida. Not too much is different except the military is large part of people's life and we spend a great deal of time in the fields and farms at the "University" or Fort.' (November 7, 2000)

  8. 'Yes, we have cameras. More digital. Film is used like painting is today.' (November 7, 2000)

  9. 'Yes we have phones but the service is through the web. Most power generation is localized. It amazes me how much power is wasted now. Yes, solar is big. There is thought that a singularity generator could also be used but most people are against it.' (November 7, 2000)

  10. 'The elderly are highly revered and looked after on a community level. So are orphans. There is always something people can do now matter what. The idea of avoiding work is looked down on. Everyone pulls together to keep the COMMUNITY strong.

'Hats are more common in the future and flashy colors are less common. Dress is much more functional and we "dress up" whenever we get a chance. I have noticed that no one in this time dresses for occasions even when they have the clothes. Why do people wear shorts to church?

'We do not spend nearly the amount of time on our hair as people do now. Women like to wear their hair longer and men have it much shorter. Both sexes shave it all off when they're in active military service.' (November 7, 2000)

  11. 'Far less medical treatment in the future even though It's more advanced. People die when they now its time to die. No lasers. Genetic medicine and cloning organs are the obvious new techs in the future.' (November 7, 2000)

  12. 'The Constitution was changed after the war. We have 5 presidents that are voted in and out on different term periods. The vice president is the president of the senate and they are voted separately.' 'If I could bring some material thing back to your time from 2036, it would be a copy of the new US Constitution.' (November 7, 2000)

  13. 'We have cars, just not a whole bunch of them. There is public transportation from city to city.' (November 7, 2000)

  14. When asked, 'Are you here now to observe the results of the presidential election?' he replied, 'I would use the word "elections" a bit cautiously. Perhaps it's easier now to see a civil war in your future?' (November 11, 2000)

  15. 'My first experience with war came when I joined a shotgun infantry unit at the age of thirteen. In the 4 years I served as a "rebel", I watched hundreds of people get shot, burn and bleed to death. I know exactly where I was and every detail of the exact moment the first nuclear warheads began falling on Jacksonville.' (November 21, 2000)

The John Titor Book

...this book about John Titor is out of print

John TitorThis book is now a collector's item. At the time of this lens being built in 2008, there was a copy for sale on Amazon (used) for $395.00! Fortunately, almost everything in the book is also available for free on the web at John Titor - Time Traveler. Maybe that's why it hasn't been reprinted.

John Titor's Time Machine

Could this be an actual time machine from the year 2036?

The Time Machine

...actual photos of a machine John Titor claimed transported him through time.

On the first day John Titor appeared online, November 2, 2000, he wrote,

"The basics for time travel start at CERN in about a year and end in 2034 with the first "time machine" built by GE."

Later in the day he wrote:

"I saw the posting requesting the basic systems for a gravity distortion system that will allow time travel. Here they are:

1. Magnetic housing units for dual microsignularities.

2. Electron injection manifold to alter mass and gravity of microsingularities.

3. Cooling and x-ray venting system

4. Gravity sensors (VGL system)

5. Main clocks (4 cesium units)

6. Main computer units (3)"

All About Time Travel

...things John Titor told us about time travel.

Please understand that I'm unable to include all the time travel information, which is voluminous. If you want to read the entire collection of John Titor writings, please go to my source.

  1. "While the machine is on, everything is black. When the machine is turned off, it is the reverse affect. It appears you are driving out from a bridge. To tell you the truth, I'm usually sleeping when the unit turns off but yes, it does appear that the world fades in from black." (November 4, 2000)

  2. "The only real physical trace is a large chunk of ground missing from the point of origin and a large pile of dirt at the destination. The gravity field surrounds a small portion of the earth under you and takes it along for the ride. There is really no way around this." (November 4, 2000)

  3. "When traveling to other worldlines there is a system of clocks and gravity sensors in the machine that sample the environment before dropping out. It's called VGL, (variable gravity lock). If a cement block were there, the machine would "backtrack" until it sensed relative congruity to the original gravity sample. A great deal of time and effort goes into picking just the right spot since you cannot physically move during a displacement." (November 6, 2000)

  4. "Time travel is achieved by altering gravity. This concept is already proven by atomic clock experiments. The closer an observer is to a gravity source (high mass), the slower time passes for them." (November 7, 2000)

  5. "By rotating two electric microsigularities at high speed, it is possible to create and modify a local gravity sinusoid that replicates the affects of a Kerr black hole." (November 7, 2000)

  6. "The computer system is connected to the unit through an electrical bus. There are actually three computers linked together that take the same signals from the gravity sensors and clocks. They use a Borda error correcting protocol that checks the integrity of the data and trips the VGL system." (November 7, 2000)

  7. "Personally, I think 'UFOs' might be time travelers with very sophisticated distortion units." (November 7, 2000)

  8. "It is thought that being close to a gravitational field has a biological effect on all matter including cells. The effect is to slow the movement of electrons in the orbits of their nucleus, which slows the mechanical and biological functions of the observer close to the gravity. Thus the passing of time is a local phenomenon depending on how close you are to a gravitational source." (November 17, 2000)

Look hard at the State of the USA... A newly elected Dictator named BO! A US second civil war isn't that hard to see! The Ruling Elites, One World Government and Illegal Aliens spit on the USA citizens! Stealing their money and making them into Debt Slaves! What JT said was true, but the dates were wrong! Was his world-line different? Or did he have a source, that knew Prior Knowledge? Via remote viewing? A Nation that doesn't respect the Will of the People, the Federal Government attacks AZ and Alabama! For defending their own CITIZENS!

The United Nations Agenda 21, China owning the USA... Obama backstabbing the UK! It sounds like TITOR knew Obama more than Obama knows Obama!

Who knows if Titor is a fraud or not. But maybe he/she it= Computer Program, had some precognitive abilities.

That is the amazing thing about time, it really is just now, and all of our perception of past and future is our own consciousness.

If John Titor is real, I'd like to ask him something very important.
They say john titor is just a hoax, why? Maybe because of his predictions that didn't come true.
John Titor's predictions about the mad cow diseases and world war 3 probably affected this world line.
For example, he saw in different world line that there will be a mad cow disease at Australia on 2003 and he said it in this world line on 2001, then the mad cow disease might occur on a different place and different time.(just an example)

Randy says:

Whatever John Titer's predictions were false or true, every single action a time traveler would do in the past will most certainly affect the future in a way or another. I do believe in one of his posts if I recall right, he did said he wanted to "change the future" So is very possible that the future was changed when he appeared online revealing all those predictions. Basically put, warning a person he will die tomorrow by a car accident, will result that person avoiding the use of his car for an amount of time avoiding his death. As John Titer stated, a parallel time line being created, even Einstein was believing in the parallel times co-existing and that humans can go from a time line to another. The feeling of Deja Vu could be explained that way. The Human brain stocks information that not even we ourselves cant access entirely, most certainly when one would change the time and we'd leap to another time line, the feeling would occur making us think we already lived those times. Its a common fact that some people cant understand how their entire life took an unexpected turn. That may be the answer.

Miguel Gonzalez says:

Since we live in a newtonian world the real question will be is the time-space travel possible?.
Titor is a lie because he never realized that if you travel in time, 36 years to the past, but not move your mass you will end in the empty space, this is mainly because the erth, and our galaxy is in constant movement.

quester says:

one day we will wake up and realize that we are all time travelers - one day at a time

mayapearl says:

I would like to believe it but somehow cannot get my head around the fact that any interference in the past would surely alter the future, therefore time travel would be pointless, then again why not just be curious.

Ryan says:

I believe anything is possible even if Titor isn't a time traveler I think it could happen. Imagine trying to grasp the concept of a computer in the 1800's... impossible. We need someone to make the discoveries necessary to lead us to the concept. For now I am choosing to hold off on believing its true or false. Just keep an open mind.

You gotta be kidding!

JGracey says:

I suppose anything is possible, but it's doubtful this Titor guy is any sort of time traveler from the future. Um, his mode of transportation is rather similar to that of Back to the Future (movie). and I must have missed the civil war in the US in 2005. Any of these predictions could be made by anyone. I don't see anything in his writings that would convince me he is a time traveler, and not just some nut. I'd need something a lot more concrete than unfulfilled predictions.

Interesting reading, sort of like 1984, but that's about it until there is some serious proof that stands up.

Professor Zagorno (Budapes) says:

It is time what does not exist. All the eras, centuries, years, days minutes and seconds exist at the same "time". For a reason we dont know, we see only what we believe it is present but dont realize all the history happenes at the same microsecond. To reach a sort of illlumination, nirvana or whatever consists on seeing all the "times" and undestand it. It is called the Complete Synapse. But those fortunate who live it don´t tell about it as it is impossible for the normal minds to understand it. It is for that -I mean the CS- that the people who reachthat state don´t need to continue reincarnating thourghout the eras as they realize that all his reincarnations coexist in the same time. Complicated but funny at the same time, huh?

Collette Morningstar says:

your entire talk of time-travel is bogus...you ripped your entire idea off TERMINATOR movies...Do you really think you are JOHN CARTER? America's civil war...straight out of the movie. John Carter the character in the movie even had pictures of future.Nobody wanted to beleive poor John either...

mihgasper says:

When he said computer programs are getting better in future, he lost me. Through all history programs are getting worse and worse. I just can't believe this trend can be reverted!

Prof. Frink says:

grandpa's paradox, he comes back, changes his belief and grows up outside of the future war, so he didn't come back, wait, he didn't come back, there is a war in 2015 and he comes back to 1970 odd for his parts and stops at 2000, where he meets himself, so he changes the timeline and doesn't grow up a soldier and war breaks out..... what wait? oh yeah alternate timelines, just the thing to use when needing an excuse. man the energy spent doing this fracturing would be pretty bad in the wrong hands, better go back and fix it, what is GE's number?

rotitnohj says:

Well i would certainly be curious on gundams shipped in from bandai or sunrise in 2036. At least we could had a more flashy war then just normal guns. If that happens, i'm sold.

California says:

He's fake! Titor is suppose to be a soldier in 2011. Well, 2011 is almost over and we're no where near a civil war.

filmic says:

There's part of me which thinks that Time is basically an illusion...What is the past but our memory of the past, a photograph, a recording of some kind? In a way, 'The Past' doesn't exist...in the same way, 'The Future' doesn't exist...pretty far out, i know. Just something I've been contemplating.

Greetings. I am a time traveler from the year 2036. I am on my way home after getting an IBM 5100 computer system from the year 1975.

My "time" machine is a stationary mass, temporal displacement unit manufactured by General Electric. The unit is powered by two, top-spin, dual-positive singularities that produce a standard, off-set Tipler sinusoid.

I will be happy to post pictures of the unit.
John Titor Time Machine Patented!
Has the time machine been patented?
Do you believe John Titor is from 2036?
Can we believe it?

Look at the time machine pictures...do you seriously think a box like that that looks like something someone could make up back in 2000 could have been used to travel back in time in 2036? I'm sure if they did invented a time machine in 2036, it would have looked way more technological than that big pile of box....considering how fast technology is advancing at this pace already in 2012. Also, there are too many holes in his stories, for example, he keep on mentioning "worldline," then how exactly does one know which worldline to go back to that has his so called mission to find the IBM 5100 where it actually exist, as there are almost an unimaginable amount of worldline. Also, in his story he states he was a unit in the military and was recruited for the time traveling mission, if he was in the military, wouldn't the government want all of this to be top confidential, why would he then publicize all this on the internet in the past? Surely, they would give him rules of what he can and cannot do before he travels back in time; there are more that I could go on and on about but those are just the some of the main reasons why that John Titor story isn't true, not to mention all of his prophecies to this date hasn't happened yet ( I know people would just use the excuse "because he is stating that from his worldline," but if you read he also did say that our worldline and his worldline are very alike). Lastly, i believe that for human to invent time machine is just too far out of reach for us at the moment as we haven't even dent the surface of what is "time" and how it works yet, and if there really are "worldlines" then that would just be more reason why its unbelievable to have a time machine invented in as little as 30 more years.

Supposedly, the scientists adjusted the machine for that very reason, to make sure time travelers ended up in the right place, but they couldn't manage to get him into the same dimension. I kind of like that the planet is moving through space giving us a fresh location every hour.

Not heard of John Titor before. Your lens was a great read and provoked many thoughts. I will take a look at your official website and read some more.

I have no doubt that scientists will eventually crack the secret of time travel and will send someone back. Based on this, I guess it's possible that John Titor could be that person but I'm not 100% convinced.

It is interesting how I was just thinking aabout time travel and search for the lens and this came up. I think time travel is a very fascinating subject and I am glad I stumbled upon this lens to learn about John Titor. Thanks for sharing.

Great lens! I had no idea about John Titor and the possibility of time travel until about a month ago. I started researching and reading and I do think it is all very possible. I think in 2015 I am ready for a war. He sounds very convincing if it isn't true.

I once saw something very strange that to this day i cannot explain,i was half asleep as i opened my eyes i was startled by a spider hanging right next to my face,as i reached to grab it it suddenly vanished into thin air right before my eyes, that really freaked me out.i used to believe i was like partially still sleeping and witnessed an object from my dream fade out of my vision as my brain switched from dream state to awake,i had experienced such things before but this wasnt anything like the other times, when that stuff happens im always paralysed and everything is distorted the moment i open my eyes, plus it never latsts longer then a few seconds, this spider thing i watched for at least a minute and everything else in my room looked entirely normal, and i had full control of my body.
im still guessing it was probably just another weird sleep-to-reality transitions albeit a particularly unusual one,but what if the spider has through some bizarre luck slipped through time or from a parallel universe?

Woah, fascinating lens. Time travel is one of my favorite topics, and I'd never heard of John Titor before. Great discovery. From my perspective, it doesn't even matter if this was legit or a hoax. The information he shared sparks new thought and breaks down mental barriers. Even if we CONSIDER time travel being possible, we will experience growth. How cool is that?

    Peace,

    Lauren

Fascinating lens. Time travel is something that has always been of great interest to me. I'd never heard of John Titor before today. I'll have to read up on him. Based on what I've just seen, I'm skeptical that he could have been a time traveler, although I do think (hope) that it will be possible one day.

    Hi,

    Thanks for a fascinating lens.

I remember studying Titor when an article appeared in NEXUS magazine (I think that's where I learned of him. Likely source, anyway.)

I'm surprised how little info on the subject exists on Squidoo. I was pleased, however, to see you bring up THE TIME TRAVELER'S HANDBOOK. I review it & have some additional time travel info at the following lens & hope you'll visit, "like" the lens, & leave a comment.

The post under "unable" predicted that the ny giants would win the super bowl in 2009-2010 the new orleans saints won, thus discrediting that posts claim to being from a time traveler

    that is not the case
the new orleans saints won the superbowl, thus discrediting the post's claim to being a tume traveler from the future

My first experience with war came when I joined a shotgun infantry unit at the age of thirteen. In the 4 years I served as a "rebel", I watched hundreds of people get shot, burn and bleed to death. I know exactly where I was and every detail of the exact moment the first nuclear warheads began falling on Jacksonville.' (November 21, 2000)

Ok if john titor was born in 1998 and its 2010...he would be 12 years old...meaning next year in 2011 he would be 13...so the above statement would be true next year (possiblY) Now, since he is living...why cant we find him? I mean does he not say he was born and lives in florida??? I'm just saying..plus am i the only one who has thought about this???

A strange, strange world that humans perceive. Who knows? I'm very aware of the supernatural because I've experienced the bizarre and impossible personally. I'm a devout believer in Jesus Christ based on personal events, but scripture doesn't directly address the possibility of traveling in time, an artifact of human consciousness. Do I believe the story? I'm skeptical. Do I believe traveling in time is possible? Yes, but I see the traveling done at the level of consciousness. Only time will tell (pull intended) if his story is basically true. Granted, it's an interesting story. :)

Linda, if 99% of us don't know when this civil war is supposed to happen who's going to fight. I hope no one looks at this as a stupid question but can 1% actually start a civil war on their own?

Also, what type of civil war is this supposed to be?

The people are soposed to be the government so what group of people will be fighting what group of people?

time travel is possible. i have thought about jesus being a time traveler because if you read the bible it says about jesus healing people by touching them this could be a device he used. there are some amazing old paintings made near jesuses time and in the back ground you can see a ufo now that could be a time machine from well a head of johns time also in the bible it talks about beams of light and the heavens now heavens means sky and ufos have been said to have beams of light it all makes sence if you read the bible and think of it in this way. it also mentions that jesus died and then he was seen a few days after he could of been healed or somthing or his future past self had came to time its all very explainable if you was to show a cave man a lighter and show the flame the cave men would think of you as a god of some sort because its never been seenn befor or understud. people wat do you think of my theory please comment my email address is hazzac01@hotmail.co.uk if you are reading this in the future please email me hints and tips and info on whats to happen or even come visit me and show me the future.

Great theory - could be true. I mean, if I was a time traveler one of the places I might want to visit and see would be Palestine at the time of Jesus.

There were multiple interventions throughout your worldine, later dubbed "The Kennedy Curse" to keep that family out of power. Our hisorical data shows your presidential lineage to have included 2 terms from JFK, 2 terms from Joe Jr, 2 terms from RFK, 2 terms from Ted Kennedy, and finally 2 terms for JFK Jr. That fmaily would have headed this country for 40 years.

There were successful attempts on all of their lives, with exception to Ted, who survived.

This is not a coinsidence or family curse. These were all deliberate.

This is why your officals in your time were unable to explain the JFK execution. The truly never knew what happened.

My proof to you is this ...

The NFL team, NY Giant, in 2009-2010 season, shall remain UNDEFEATED and go on to win the Super Bowl, breaking the long standing record previously held by the Miami team. This will culminate, ironically, in Miami.

For reasons to complicated, I am unable to give my name ... However, I can confirm to you through my own personal first hand involvement with this project that it is for real.

I have chosen this forum to post these comments, because the future has indicated to me that I have already done so. It is this very forum where my comments will be read and republished, getting them to the who needs to see them.

Unfortunately, Lt. Titor was incorrect in some aspects, and worldlines have been altered. Newer technology and development in this project has proved this to us.

Apparently your worldline, this one that you are in right now has been altered previously.

You do not see this because you are living in the now, however we have a way of recording and tracking hisorical events and changes in them.

I will provide you hisorical proof at the end of this message.

Your Presidential order differs from the historical one originally seen in future visit from this worldline.

Interesting Stuff...... but the reason why his predictions are a skewed is becasue he came from an alternate timeline. Maybe thats how history unfolded in his time, but just because he was born in 98 in his time could mean that he was never even born in 98 in our time. I do think he makes some really good explanations for alot of what he is talking abuot. I just dont see why they wanted that anceint computer so bad. A problem with Unix in 2038, wasnt he from 2036? And didnt he go straght from 2036 to 1975? How does he know about the future problem wth unix? Strange........

John Titor told us that the name was a pseudonym... he wouldn't use his parents' name - to protect them. And I don't think his intention was to prevent a war. He seemed to think it was necessary to change our current lifestyle. Whether or not John was a real time traveler - he put forth some worthwhile information such as his disgust with us for eating tainted processed foods from the supermarkets, and he also warned us about Mad Cow Disease in cheese. Now research shows that Mad Cow Disease is more likely in dairy products because the cows are older whereas meat cows are killed while they're still young. I honestly believe that time traveler or no, the John Titor collection of writings is worth reading. And be sure to stock up on bicycle tires while you're at it!
  • Mad Metal May 28, 2009 @ 5:20 am | delete
His stories are pretty much a combination of stories from the Terminator films and from Nostradamus. Like in the Terminator, there was a nuclear war where nuclear bombs destroyed billions of lives and the remaining survivors were left to fight and they sent soldiers back to the past to save the future; which sounds identical to John Titor's world, except he claims it's World War 3, not a war between man & machine. As far as his so called prediction of World War 3, that is based on Nostradamus 100%. Also there are no records of a 11 year old John Titor or Titor family in Florida. Investigators did a people search so it's verified. All of John Titor's claims are based on legendary stories passed on for many years as well as science fiction stories. One man can not prevent a future Cival War or World War so I wouldn't claim he somehow changed history for us.

I think a lot of the things I've read about john titor could very well be true. And if that's the case, where's the rebel army, and where can I sign up, because it's getting difficult to trust the government. How convenient it is that the GOVERNMENT has a STOCKPILE of medicine to combat this new swine flu epidemic. How convenient it is that it's in extreme high demand, all of a sudden, just when the government needs more of our money. I'm not saying they started the virus, but I think they are blowing it way out of proportion. Between the Government and the Media feeding you propaganda, who do you trust? Civil War, here we come!

The time line is slightly off regards current events that are or have happened. This would be understandable to a point. Dates and times get lost in History. If a nuclear war and civil war did happen the transfer of knowledge would be crippled to word of mouth and memory. The loop holes I see are, if the time travel takes some dirt with the person being transferred, then the video reportedly taken by johns family of his departure would have resulted in Momma missing some carpet after the fact. John states that the "Jump" is darkness. In the video it is a bright flash of light he enters. He also states he purchased a 1967 chevy and traded it for an suv he was going to take back with him to 2036. If the video is of him jumping forward from the living room, he did not take the car back with him.
It is nice to know the things he says. I truly hope he is real. It allows me to have some future understanding of things happening now and to better prepare my family for the future.

I came a cross JohnTitor web sit in 2006 I thought it was fake i spent all night reading every thing on there like a lot of people then what did i do lol i went to the cern web site i read and read about how they can make protons go almost the speed of light and the resone why i say almost is johntitor said theres a time diff %2.5 if it was the speed of light you would not have the diff in later modles right? I looked up qorks and the top qork, string theory idk i just like the hole idea of black holes i bet it's true thats why the y2k didnt happen and in china 2004 bush wanted to boycott the sports but didnt happen becouse i think just from john titor saying that about them it didnt happen!

if i said you were going to die on march 12th at 1:23 am UT time 2009 on south st. you would wait intill 1:24 right i just changed the timeline or what every thats were the 2.5 comes in so events probly are going to happen early right?

I never heard of John Titor before reading this lens and i am amazed. There is a story of a lad appearing naked in the middle of nowhere in Germany i think and some people speculated that he may have come from another time. This may have happened and may still be happening, but i must ask the question then; how could someone coming from the future not change events? As a psychic I am aware of the fickle nature of predictions and the changing or skipping of time lines. After all we do have a certain amount of free will and can change any perceived future, food for thought. Love your lenses..
  • LindaJM Nov 9, 2008 @ 1:08 am | delete
Alex, yes, he was. There is some time distortion between our time line and his which may be why some of his prophecies seem inaccurate, or slightly off. I think the one about a civil war starting in 2005 may account for underground rebellion we may not yet be aware of. After all, in this civilization one can't just get on the Internet and claim to be starting something, as that would be too obvious; the nutcase rebel would be imprisoned and that would be the end of his effectiveness. Any successful rebel would have to be able to keep his intentions private. I think everyone in America now knows a civil war may happen, but 99% of us don't have the foggiest idea where it will start or how.
  • Alex Nov 8, 2008 @ 11:08 am | delete
Is John from a different time line?

This story is amazing. if i had the chance i would ask him how his time 2000-2008 was different from ours. i mean did the world trade center colapsed in the year 2001 in his time. did someone from the future visit him when he was a kid.
