Congratulations to all of the super members of the Jolly Judicious Jetsetters! You created a total of 221 Prospective Giant lenses and 201 Prospective Giant 100's. I am amazed and thrilled! A total of 422 lenses between May 1 and June 30, 2009!! Wow, that is jolly and judicious and very jetsetting, huh?

I wish I could hug each one of you individually! It has been a total joy to work with you all during this challenge and I look forward to following you and your lenses in the future!

Many many thanks for being part of the very first Jolly Judicious Jetsetters Team!

If you are a visitor here, we welcome you!! You will find absolutely fabulous lenses here! Do visit them all!

Headquarters for the Challenge!

Giant Squid Challenge June 2009

(This is how it was all set up - the first Squidoo Greeters Challenge)

I am excited to be part of the Giant Squid Challenge for June 2009. The Giant Squid Challenge is being run by the Squidoo Greeters. Each Greeter is creating their own "team" for this challenge. Won't you join my team - the Jolly Judicious Jetsetters?

In order to participate, you must be a prospective Giant or prospective Giant 100 for June 2009. There is a separate challenge for each group.

What is the prize? The team with the most PG lenses and the team with the most 100 club lenses will get a special chat with the Giant Squid Organizers, a blog post and bragging rights. For a list of teams, see the Squid Squad

After May 1, no new contestants will be added. So join a team and get busy making super lenses!

How to Participate? As you create qualified lenses after May 1, add them to the appropriate plexo. There is a plexo for Potential Giants and a different plexo for Potential Giant 100's! Let's make tons of great lenses before the deadline!

It is wonderful to see your lenses being added to the plexo! I am anxious to visit each one! How exciting!

Important Hints and Tips

The best way to learn how to produce super lenses is to visit super lenses. Go to the new Squidoo home page and visit the top 5 in every category!--a simple little exercise that will inspire you for sure! Choose a different category a day and watch your mind go to work!

Explore the different modules. How many different modules can you use in this contest period. Make your lenses stand out from the crowd!

Make holiday lenses - Grab a calendar and make a lens for every holiday! Holiday lenses are fun, and you will be glad you have those done ahead of the holidays!

Make a lensography - tell us about yourself and display your lenses using the featured lens module.

Make a directory of lenses in a category.

Make lenses about your geographic area - tell us about the habits of the people in your area. Educate us!

Make a music lens about your favorite song and/or artist. Remember to write original content, not just copy and paste from wikipedia.

Make a funny lens! We all need a giggle! Check out the humor category and find one that makes you laugh, then make one yourself!

Be a part of the Squidoo community - visit the forum every day, visit at least 5-10 lenses a day. Comment, favorite and rate.

It's fun to visit all of the potential giants and giant 100's in your June class. Get to know your classmates. Share the journey!

Enjoy! Have fun! Laugh every day!

Questions ?

This is a contest for the Month of May -- just a fun competition for potential Giants and potential Giant 100's. You do not need to make your entire 50 or 100 lenses in May. This is just lenses you will add to your qualifying lenses -- again, a fun competition as you create your final lenses for qualification.

Do not add any lenses before May 1. After May 1, team members can add any NEW lenses you create.

Membership in the JJJ team is now closed. Be sure to join the next promotion if you missed this one!

Our Very Own Ning!

Team Members are Strongly Encouraged to Join!

Note: A ning can be a great help and lots of fun! You are not required to participate in the ning, but if you want some extra help, encouragement or have questions, this is the place to go --our own little corner of the internet. Only members of this team will be accepted into the ning.

PS A ning is a great place for super backlinks for your lenses! and a fun way to meet friends too!

Looks like I'm late again and am never late in my personal life only on the PC. Anyway thanks for all the help and I did make Giant by some fluke.

in reply to drifter0658 This has been so much fun - and while working side by side with you would have been a joy, going head to head with you was quite a thrill - it's always fun to challenge somebody you know might be a little bit better - you keep me on my toes, my friend. Now that the challenge is over, I hope we get back to bantering on Twitter. I've missed that, being on an opposing team.
