This is what made me love Jonathan Crombie as an actor. He stars as Gilbert Blythe, Anne Shirley's love interest. Their relationship is pretty rocky to begin with as Gilbert calls her 'Carrots' and teases her. And she pretends to hate him at times. I just wanted them to get together! I hated when Anne got together with the old guy in the sequel as Anne & Gilbert were meant to be together.

- i have fallen in love with jonathon crombie on every ocassion that i watch anne of green gables. i don't think my heart can take it again. i defo wanna see more of his work, would love to meet him too....but some of us are never that lucky. mind you, its probably safer for him that he doesn't meet me...lard kows what i would do to him. :).
