No Doubt The Favourite Rock Star For Millions Of People
I was about 9 years old when I first heard Bon Jovi's songs. My brother who was 5 years older me loved him. So I grew up listening to Bon Jovi's songs, since in those days there are no ipods and walkmans are a luxury to my family.
I love his music. It moves me... literally. It makes me dance!
A Little About Jon Bon Jovi
He really pursued his dreams. It was not until 1986 did the band really take off. Slippery When Wet went on to sell 9 million copies in just the USA and two songs, You Give Love A Bad Name and Livin' On A Prayer was ranked number one in the singles chart.
Ever since that album, he became a household name. But that's not his peak performance. In 2000, he released yet another awesome album, Crush. This album went platinum in the US and was an instant number one hit the UK charts. In that album, is the my most favorite Bon Jovi songs, It's My Life. It's My Life earned the band a Grammy for Best Rock Performance by a Group while the album, Crush, won the Best Rock album.
Other achievements include number 2 spot in 2002 for Bounce which is his highest chart debut and his ninth album Have A Nice Day sold four and a half million copies and reached platinum status in several countries.
He does some acting, but as much as I love him, I think he belongs to the musical world more than the acting one.
