Who is the Gay Pimp?

Jonny McGovern is gay - but not just any gay person, he's the Gay Pimp! He created this funny comedic character to protest against Eminem's hateful, homophobic lyrics. Now the Gay Pimp makes his own music and is involved with several other groups like Team Pimp and Linda James. Jonny McGovern (born July 12, 1975), also known by his character name The Gay Pimp, is an American stand-up comedian, musician and podcaster. He has recorded three albums as comedic singer The Gay Pimp, and is also a cast member of Logo's The Big Gay Sketch Show.

I first found out about this dude when I watched a totally funny video on YouTube he made. I think he deserves his own lens, too!
