Truth is Mormonism. God is the author of it.
Some of Joseph Smith's Accomplishments
Later Joseph smith received the priesthood which is the authority to preform sacred ordinances in God's name. Part of this authority was the right to preform baptisms and organize God's church upon the earth.
On April 6th 1830 Joseph Smith founded the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints. He organized the leadership of the church and sent missionaries out to declare to the world that God's church had been restored to the earth.
Joseph Smith suffered persecution at the hands of mobs. He and his family went through many trials. Through all the trials he faced he stood strong and true to his testimony of the work he was called to do. He sealed his testimony with his blood when he was martyred at Carthage.
Mormonism is the pure doctrine of Jesus Christ; of which I myself am not ashamed.

"Why persecute me for telling the truth? I have actually seen a vision; and who am I that I can withstand God, or why does the world think to make me deny what I have actually seen? For I had seen a vision; I knew it, and I knew that God knew it, and I could not deny it, neither dared I do it; at least I knew that by so doing I would offend God, and come under condemnation."
