Joseph Smith Jr.: Prophet of the Restoration
Joseph Smith Jr. is the prophet of the restoration and founding prophet of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints. With God's help he translated the engravings on ancient gold plates into what is called the Book of Mormon. He later restored the priesthood back to the earth and established God's church upon the earth. He is the prophet God chose to usher in the dispensation of the fullness of times.
Truth is Mormonism. God is the author of it.

Later Joseph smith received the priesthood which is the authority to preform sacred ordinances in God's name. Part of this authority was the right to preform baptisms and organize God's church upon the earth.
On April 6th 1830 Joseph Smith founded the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints. He organized the leadership of the church and sent missionaries out to declare to the world that God's church had been restored to the earth.
Joseph Smith suffered persecution at the hands of mobs. He and his family went through many trials. Through all the trials he faced he stood strong and true to his testimony of the work he was called to do. He sealed his testimony with his blood when he was martyred at Carthage.
Mormonism is the pure doctrine of Jesus Christ; of which I myself am not ashamed.
