Joseph Haydn, also known as Papa Haydn
He wrote over one hundred symphonies and became known as the "Father of the Symphony". He brought about great changes in music of his time and contributed much to the Classical Period of music.

- I was checking out the Story of Haydn cd, and realized that Haydn wrote the music that is the German national anthem. I had no idea, despite living there for three years.
You're right this is a great price. I've seen these as high as $10 each.
