Once "Noel" became the Number One on the Billboard 200, Josh Groban carves himself a piece of chart history.His album became the first Christmas set in the 51-year history of Billboard's weekly album chart to hold the top rung for four consecutive weeks, and only the second to chalk up that many chart-topping weeks.
Elvis Presley's "Elvis' Christmas Album," which became the first seasonal title to reach No. 1 in 1957, was the only other one to lead the list for four weeks, but the fourth of those frames was not consecutive.
By the end of 2007 Josh Groban's "Noel" was the bestselling album of the calendar year, overtaking "High School Musical 2." The album was certified Quadruple Platinum for selling four million.
