- Nice topic with some great pictures. I'd like to read a module or two about your personal experiences on your trip to Joshua Tree. What you liked and disliked, where you stayed, what you did ... you know, the usual "what I did on my summer vacation" sort of anecdotes.

- Sounds like a lot of people like this park. I've never been to the west coast. I'm on the (better, although colder) east coast.

- Joshua Tree is one of my favorite places... I used to live in 29 palms, worked as a reporter, and I still visit once or twice a year... They are building a new casino now... go out to Landers from Yucca Valley on Old Woman's Road/Trail and feast your eyes on the trees... once, I saw a coyote in the middle of the road who just stood his ground...

- Great photographs. Joshua Tree is a cool place to go hiking in the Spring. I would definitely recommend it as a weekend getaway in Southern California.

- I absolutely love Joshua Tree National Park, we try to get there every spring. It's such a beautiful place, especially when the spring flowers are blooming! Don't forget the camera for amazing pictures.
