    Hey Sammy nice lens. I've recently created a writing orientated website & my gf wants to make a post but is unsure what to write about. With all these resources she has no excuse not to contribute now!
    That's one more like for you & I've bookmarked ya too :)
    Maybe you could feature my lens? I'm trying to inspire people as well.

    I like the idea of putting prompts in a jar for you to pick out and write about it. Great way to stay creative!

    I wan to to add- I have to get students to write quite frequently and there is nothing better than a good prompt to really sparks their interests

    Hi, very interesting lens with a lot of great sources, but at least one is not available anymore (artist freebies), so I guess it would bo good think to revise your outgoing links. All the best:)

    Great idea for a lens! I've always had visions of filling up journal after journal...but it just never seems to work out. Your prompts are fantastic and really helpful. Maybe I'll finish a journal yet :o)

    This is great. :-) I'll have fun looking through this over and over. You might like 750words.com , a kind of online way to do "morning pages" and also have an interesting thing done to show what you're likely thinking and feeling. :-) I keep a related blog, too at http://freelancewritingfun.blogspot.com/ , where I post a lot of things to try to get people inspired. I'll have to add thispage to my link list there. :-)

    I love journaling and these questions are wonderful. and like Mukunda22, I do love the 3 page writer idea from Morning Pages, too! Lensrolling to Personal History page. and the 10 year journal, too!

    Julia Cameron's Morning Pages are an amazing tool. She fully describes this and how to do it in "The Artist's Way." Briefly, upon arising, you write three pages of long hand in a regular sized notebook. Do not stop writinguntil you are done with the three pages. No more than three pages allowed. No typing the three pages. Do this every day.

    This method sets the creative wheels a rolling.

    Anyway, I love this lens and featured it on my FB page! Congrats on the Purple Star!! Well deserved!

    Oh yes, I love when I can get some quiet time to do my morning pages! Very hard to find the time with a toddler on my hands, but my day always goes so much smoother if I'm able to get them done. Thanks for your tip :)

    Journal prompts remind me of my fav author, Robert Pirsig, in his book Lila where he has this innumerable slips of paper with random thoughts which he keeps assembling, reassembling, and sometimes discarding. Thanks for compiling so many useful links in one lens..I especially liked Random Inspiration's Inspire Me button.
