Why I Took My Journey
My company lay off nearly one thousand people early this summer. I wasn't one of them. I was feeling terrific because those of us remaining were assured that our jobs were safe. BUT three weeks ago, my manager came to me on a Friday morning and said I needed to attend a special meeting with her. That's when the dreaded event occurred. I lost my job. My thoughts raced. How could that be? I sat up until midnight the night before addressing a company system problem. I had to face reality - I was without a job, over fifty, and had bills to pay. I had to take action. That's why I took the Journey Finding Work From Home Job. Go Here To See What I Discovered And Am Recommending To You. How I Started My Journey
Following the shocking news that I lost my work-at-the-office job, I started my journey filing for unemployment, searching job postings for work-at-the-office jobs and submitting resumes with several job placement services. I soon realized I was facing a big challenge. My skills were not in high demand. The jobs available were entry level and much below my current salary. Those positions that appeared to offer some possibility were more than one hour away. I was going no where fast. That's how my Journey Finding Work From Home Job began, but that's not how it ended. How My Journey Changed Course
I realized I had a great resource at our finger tips: a computer with online services. I knew how to do Google searches. So I began my Journey Finding Work From Home Job with these resources. To my surprise, when doing a search with Google and Yahoo I found many 'Work From Home Jobs'. In fact, I found so many I was overwhelmed. At least I was hopeful that I could find a job. It was a good thing my Journey Finding Work From Home Job changed course.
How I Navigated My Journey
At first most opportunities seemed unique, but upon further review I began to identify similarities. I classified the online work from home jobs into three categories: Medical Records Processing, Online Paid Surveys, and Online Business Marketing Jobs. I further classified the Online Marketing Jobs into three types: 'Typing Articles at Home', 'Posting Links on Google' and 'Pay per Click'. I was navigating through the maze and believed my Journey Finding Work From Home Job would take me to one that was 'right' for me.. How I Assessed Job Opportunities
I reviewed each work from home job opportunity and discovered that each opportunity had its challenges.- Medical Records Processing required expensive training, would become frustrating when an error was submitted - the correction process is laborious, would stop me from delivering a completed product if the central processor was down for maintenance.
- Online Paid Surveys would frustrate me when I discovered the number of paying companies in the directory is less
than those advertised, the directories and links are not current, an additional fee is required to access high premium paying companies, I couldn't get back my 100% back return guarantee if I decided to quit. - Typing Articles from Home would become routine if I only designed ads, linked traffic to marketing company websites and got paid when a purchase is made.
- Posting Links on Google would not provide enough creativity if I wrote articles pointing to websites, posted given links and was paid per link posted.
- Pay per Click would be too restrictive if I create a website featuring a product to sell, linked to the product of personal business or to a marketing company's product, paid the web hosting site for every client click and received pay only when the client buys the product.
Based on my desire for flexibility, I decided that none of the above mentioned jobs were for me. I did not want to be locked into a specific marketing technique or specific product/service, so I continued my Journey Finding Work From Home Job.
