Squidoo is a great way to built your credibility. Let readers know that you are a real person with thoughts, dreams and a point of view. Write what you are an expert on. Share it with the community. Tell us about your new book, online store, what has made you successful. Tells us about yourself and let us know what makes you the person that you are.

Many business minded people have used Squidoo as a compliment to their websites, blogs, affiliate business or their online shopping sites. Some lensmasters have worked with businesses to create a lens for that particular business. Yes, some businesses will pay you to write for them.

But it is not business. Many lensmasters want to educate others on health issues and education in general. Others write for the fun of it. Squidoo is a great place to share your recipes, crafts, a movie review or a debate.

As with all social networks you are connecting with people. Making friends and being part of one of the best online communities on the internet. It becomes easy to find that you are among friends. This is what makes Squidoo so additive. It is all about the lensmasters in the community that makes Squidoo one of the top social networks online. In fact, Squidoo is one of the 300 most popular websites in the US. This does not mean you have to live in the US. Lensmasters come from all over the world.

What Good Is Money , 4x2

Squidoo has generated hundreds of thousands of dollars in annual royalties to charities. 35% of the lensmasters have donated their lenses or part of their lenses to charities. There are many charities to choose from. You may have your own charity to add.

Lensmasters can get paid anywhere from a few dollars to $100 a month or more. According to the editor in chief, some make $10,000 a year. The more lenses with quality work that you write, the more income that can end up in your pocket at the end of the month. This is payout is sent to your PayPal account.

Some lensmasters have perfected a niche theme and have made an impressive amount in sales just on one lens. These sales can be generated by the use of Amazon and eBay modules. Or you can be an affiliate of an ebook, Allposters.com or something else that will bring in money in your pockets. The possibilities are endless.

Squidoo pays out revenue in the form of tiers to the lensmasters. The payout is explained on Your Lenses, Your Money and these lenses below.

A person does not join Squidoo thinking they will make a fortune on their lenses. (Maybe some do.) Everyone who joins Squidoo has their own reason to join. Squidoo can be an extension of your own writing. It can be a way to direct traffic to your website.

I know one lensmaster (grassosalvato86) who only has one lens It.course: free Italian language course though he has another account for his travel lenses. This way he would have an account for two different subjects.

This is what he had to say to me, "So far, I haven't got any travel lens, but without any particular reason I'm building my language lenses under my second account. When I have my travel lenses, I will transfer all my language ones under my first account."

"The reason why I started using Squidoo? To bring traffic to my blog. After a while though, I realized that Squidoo could also make me earn some money not only by the shared revenue from the Adsense ads but also and mainly by selling affiliate products."

I (sandyspider) also joined to bring viewers to my websites. Ebook Tree Saver and Embrace the Hill But mainly, I joined Squidoo to promote a free to join marketing opportunity. The SpiderWeb Marketing System Seven lenses were created on this subject without a clue of what I was doing. These lenses have been improved on as I have grown as a lensmaster.

As a note: Many people have one account with many subjects, as I do. Others have different accounts to keep each subject separate. After making more than 100 lenses, I often think if I should of created different accounts. Let me know what you think about this in the guestbook.
