Hello world ~ I'm very glad to meet you! Writing lenses here on Squidoo has been so much fun for me. I truly am enjoying writing and reading the wide range of lens topics throughout Squidoo. I am a performing musician and teacher who feels very passionate about music education. I work hard and have fun at the same time with homeschooling my children, also.

It's just that I have many interests in the field of music and because of that, it was suggested to me to create a separate 'niche' for each area of interests so that you, the reader, may choose your favorites without skimming through the rest.

A Squidoo Angel!
Giving & Receiving Blessings!
So many extremely kind people have visited my pages and left wonderful comments and surprises! I am very thankful for all of the "SquidAngel" blessings that fellow lensmasters have left for me and wanted to show it by creating a page for them entitled, Gratitude for Angels. Surprise and delight come to me each time a SquidAngel leaves their mark on my pages. Thank you!
Since I have always enjoyed reading awesome lenses on Squidoo beginning the first day I found them, it becomes even more fun when I get to leave an "Angel Blessing" at my favorite ones!
During January 2011, I became a special assignment SquidAngel for the Rocket Moms and more. Then as of February 2011, I started my tenure as the official Squidoo Angel of the Musical Instrument Neighborhood!
Squish, Squish ~ I'm a Giant Squid!!
For visitors of Squidoo and my dear friends and family ...~ just so you don't think I've totally lost my mind (only partially :D), you can read about what and who a Giant Squid is below. It may seem a small thing to some, but to my fellow lensmasters and I, it is a very special honor! ~ Getting involved in this "community" of interesting people has brought out something new in myself that I didn't know existed! I'm not saying I'm a great writer, graphic designer, webmaster, or whatever (although I'm surrounded by some incredibly creative people who are). What I am saying is that so many people have encouraged me to try doing things that I didn't think I could do. They have helped me to grow tremendously, and I am very thankful to them all!! I still consider myself a little Squidling because I have so much to learn about writing, web design, graphics, HTML, CSS, google, marketing, keywords, links, ............ and so much more!
Thank you especially to Megan, Robin, Bonnie, Rocket Moms, Giant Squids, and the other friends and lensmasters whom have reached out a cephalopod arm or tentacle to help! (See, I'm learning everyday. Who knew there was a difference between squid arms and tentacles? Not me until now!)
I became a Giant Squid 50 in January of 2010, a Giant Squid 100 in July of 2010, and a Giant Squid 150 in 2011!

I play the piano, clarinet, saxophone, Native American flute, and guitar. Still hoping to learn additional instruments. Excellent lensography. Here's to being the music!
