Everything You Wanted to Know About MT
I trained to do this type of transcription, but have been busy doing general transcription instead. It's a bit less intense. However, medical transcription is needed in many medical fields, primarily because speech recognition software has trouble with accents. Another big problem with speech recognition is that the person talking has to really say everything perfectly and pronounce every medication and procedure perfectly in order for it to be correctly picked up by the software. It's never that clean, so hence the need for human transcriptionists and editors.

Medical transcription, also known as MT, is an allied health profession, which deals in the process of transcription, or converting voice-recorded reports as dictated by physicians and/or other healthcare professionals, into text format.

THERE'S NO PLACE LIKE FOSTER BOTANICAL GARDENS
Whew. Taking a break with the fam. This is one of my favorite places in Hawaii. It's so relaxing and amazing at the same time. There are trees here that I've never seen anywhere else, and I've been to botanical gardens all over the U.S., Europe, Australia, and Bali.
It's just nice to take a break from transcription (even though I love it) and just wander this place and hang out with my family.
My lei smelled squintastically squidumtuous!
