Judas Priest are a band that helped define the heavy metal genre. Starting in 1968 in Birmingham in the UK, the band has rocked on through numerous changes to both their lineup and musical direction.
Releasing a mammoth 15 studio albums and 4 live albums, the band are set to release a new album in 2007, their 29th year, with the "classic" (and original) lineup of vocalist Rob Halford, guitarists KK Downing and Glenn Tipton, and bassist Ian Hill.
