Creative Cuisine with Mediterranean Flair
Judy's on Cherry in downtown Reading, Pennsylvania features unique Mediterranean-influenced dishes made with the freshest ingredients, authentic herbs and spices. A variety of meat, seafood and salad dishes are prepared to order - the dinner and lunch menu changes seasonally, with special treats served up on Wednesdays and Thursdays. Judy's boasts an eclectic menu and comprehensive wine list along with full bar service - try a specialty martini before or after dinner!
At Judy's, the dining areas are located up a flight of stairs on the second floor of an historic brick building. The structure's bricks, high windows and antique barrel-vaulted wood plank ceiling and high windows add to the charming atmosphere. The ambiance continues throughout the dining and bar areas decorated with fresh flowers and original paintings by local artists.
Every meal includes a serving of freshly made foccacia bread served piping hot and criispy right from the 6000-lb brick oven hearth that's located in the center of the restaurant. These delicious crispy-on-the-outside, chewy-on-the-inside slightly salty flat bread triangles are drizzled with extra virgin Spanish olive oil and you also get a bowl of oil at the table for dipping.
I've eaten at Judy's many times - I became a fan when my daughter from New Hampshire sent me a Judy's club membership and I discovered why it's a foodie's delight and famous beyond Reading, Pennsylvania. My opinion's shared by many others who've visited Judy's: read restaurant reviews of Judy's on Cherry.
Judy's on Cherry in downtown reading is open for lunch, Tuesday-Friday and dinner, Tuesday-Saturday. Reservations are accepted but not always needed if you get there early. Parking is available on the street or just 1 block away (free or validated) at the municipal parking garage.
