Julian Casablancas's Shoes

Julian wears a pair of racked out Nike Franchise-hi hi tops. It looks like he needs to get some new ones, but unfortunately, they don't sell the same style anymore. Nike Franchise-hi shoes came out in 1979, and are now very rare. Luckily, you can still find similar shoes by Nike. I featured a few below.

UPDATE: Nike still sells the same shoes, but under another name! They are now called Nike Blazer Mid shoes. Unfortunately they are available only to women. But of course you can always find similar shoes for men!

You may have also noticed that Julian has been recently wearing a pair of fluorescent lime green Nike Hypermax NFW shoes. If you're afraid to wear them, just remember, if Julian can wear them, you can! I featured them below.

Julian Casablancas Many Jackets

Julian in his many jackets An essential addition to the Julian Casablancas wardrobe is a jacket. He is known for leather jackets, denim jackes, and of course the legendary military Strokes Jacket with red piping. As most of his jackets are custom made, it's hard to find replicas. Luckily, I found some wonderful deals on Strokes Jackets on eBay, and also found jacket's with very similar styles on Amazon.

Taken from the Red Tie Jackets site: "The one and only leather jacket inspired by the Julian Casablancas solo tour, comes with two black chest zippers, two side pockets and the classic red strips on the neck collar and the sleeve cuffs." You can buy the jacket here:
