I am new to Squidoo and I am looking forward to learning all I can to make great lens that will be interesting and informative!

I originally came to Squidoo to help market my home business, but I have come to enjoy reading lens on topics ranging from recipes to sports to movies!

Personal Story

I am a stay at home mom of a very active little boy. He gives us many smiles, laughs and a few headaches! There is nothing like a little boy smile to warm a mother's heart. I am afraid to say that he has us wrapped around his finger. I have a wonderful husband whom I have been married to for 10 years. We also have a beagle that adds a little more chaos to our home.

I am a consultant with a natural candle and mineral make up company. I enjoy sharing these wonderful products and working with others to help them acheive success with this great company.

My husband and I also own a home inspection franchise. For the first 5 years I did the scheduling for the business, however, most of my time is now focused on marketing.

My Gourmet Candle Business

type=textWe purchased the home inspection franchise in 2002 and moved to Ohio from Michigan. We both left full-time jobs to enter the self-employment world. After not having any guaranteed income, I was looking for something I could do on the side to help bring in a little more income. I came across this candle business and it suited what I was looking for - no required meetings, no monthly quotas, no long term commitment. The company has consistantly improved itself since I joined. They now have a mineral make up line and most recently added an anti-aging skin care system.
