Julienne is the Best Mobility Sales Specialist

MobilityWorks (formerly Advanced Mobility) is the all-inclusive Dealership Experience, and with Julienne Dallara on board, making the World Accessible is one step closer.

Julienne is the pleasant smile seen at MobilityWorks. She is a Mobility Sales Specialist, a member of the President's Club, and a wonderful person to work with.

My personal experience started on May 30th, 2009 when I began the task of finding my Father-in-law a wheelchair Accessible Vehicle. Dad wanted a Chrysler product, so I was delighted to see the Chrysler and Dodge prominence at the Van Nuys dealership. Julienne helped me through the learning curve by showing me the Modifications made to the vehicles and the available accessories. We looked at several vans that seemed to be appropriate for Dad, and I snapped pictures of them all. I even got Julienne in a couple of them.

I love Julienne's personality, and her willingness to go the extra mile. When you visit MobilityWorks in Downtown Van Nuys, be sure to ask for Julienne Dallara by name.

A New Van for Merle A. Adams

Now dad can get around in a wheelchair accessible vehicle

The process of helping dad find a mobility van was an awesome experience, but it was also a big learning curve. After spending a lot of time on the internet searching for used converted vans, dealerships, and mobility conversion exerts, I discovered an ability EXPO in Anaheim California. I showed up for the last three hours of the last day, only to find the perfect van for Dad. What I found was a 2005 Chrysler that had been converted with a wheelchair ramp by AMS vans, Inc. The conversion had been done in Norcross, GA, and the California representative was from San Diego, CA.

Diana Conte (VP of Business Development at AMS vans) gave me a "conference special price" that included delivery of the vehicle, and James Foster (President of Coast Mobility Inc.) promised delivery sometime the next week. I know this was the one, placed a call to Mom (to get her and dads blessings) and put a down payment on my credit card.

By the following Wednesday, we had delivery of a beautiful Gold Chrysler wheelchair accessible van. The cost was about $10,000 less than I could find anyplace else on the net. And to my surprise, the DMV tax was only on the value of the van, and not on the cost of the conversion. The vehicle came with a seven (7) year warrantee on the conversion. Even though we paid cash, AMS vans also offer ten year financing and a generous referral program. AMS also accepts most trade-ins, but we had already found a private party to buy dads old Chrysler.

Nice lens! I had a friend who was confined to his wheelchair and oftentimes friends would have to lift the whole thing to get him into the car.

Very important information to have available, especially if one can get other person's opinions as well. I am giving you my Squid Angel Blessing and a Valentine's Day Cupid Kiss for a job well done.

      Dear Harry,

I'm glad you got the chance to visit the Abilities Expo yesterday. It used to be a great place for picking up useful information. Since I began some of your learning on Saturday, I want to continue along those lines. And so%u2026

All the adaptive van companies used to have booths at the Abilities Expo. The trouble was, space was so expensive for the exhibitors that many of us stopped going all together. Why spend $25,000 for 3 days, when you could put that into your advertising budget for the whole year?

Then the organizers of the Expo sold the first three spots on either side of the main aisle to Aero Mobility. They are not a reputable dealership, certified and authorized by NMEDA. They represent an internet-selling conversion company called Freedom Motors, or FMI. They sell direct to the customer. They have no showrooms, other than at Aero's one location, where you can wait for service, test drive new or used cars, etc.

      Many thanks,

      Julienne

      Dear Harry,

My jaw dropped open and it is still dropped. How did you do that? You are so kind. I'm forwarding your "ad" on to my boss, and if I may, I'll attach it to my Facebook page. What a trip! Thank you for such a nice surprise on a Sunday morning.

      Sincerely,

      Julienne
