June stayed with me her whole life. I miss her always, but also always have good memories to enjoy. She was a wild child dog. Big and strong and made to be loyal and faithful to a fault. Gentle and sweet beyond belief.

I spent much of my time with her trying to get that point across to other people, because she was a great big pit bull. So in having a big strong dog, I found myself as a protector, which is surprising to people,

It was my responsibility to make sure she was not misunderstood, that she was always treated lovingly, and that she was safe from the hatred of all of the ignorance out there about pitbulls. Doggies are not here for us to use, they are for us to love and be loved by, pure and simple.

And it was my pleasure, oh the stories I could tell!
