HERE'S WHAT I THINK
Was the movie Juno the best movie of the year? I watched the DVD and thought it was okay but not that great. The DVD box quotes Roger Ebert saying Juno is "The Best Movie of the Year"
As far as Oscars go, Juno was up for Best Picture but didn't win. However, it did win an Oscar for Best Original Screenplay of 2007.
I don't care about the Oscars--I want to know what you think about Juno!

wel yes indeed! its over rated! if you watch all the movies i suppose you will find more interesting ones! ppl just spread rumours abt a certain movie and that gets popular.. watch it yourself to comment on it

Knocked Up was better than this one and deserves the title of best movie of the year if any comedy does.

I only watch it to make me laugh at hard times, Ellen Page did an great job as witty teen! However it has its moments of 'quick change the channel there are kids here' but if your alone and need a good laugh, realize how great life can be sometimes, this is the movie......

Juno suffered from the hype - any viewer who watched with an open mind and no expectations was pleasantly surprised to find him or herself still thinking about the flick three days later. Ironically, the new Canadian movie The Stone Angel, which also features performances by Ellen Page and promises to be another cinema classic, will probably go completely unnoticed and suffer from a complete lack of hype.
