There's something wonderful and wicked about red shoes. Especially if you're wearing red high heels out on a hot Valentine's Day date or any hot date!)
Just the idea of red high heels weakens knees and sends otherwise sane women running to the shoe store.
I'm a big believer in being good to my feet and don't normally advocate regularly wearing high heel shoes, especially ultra-high heels.
Alas! It's hard to ignore the reports directed toward women telling us that our beautiful high heels, if worn too often, cause foot and bone problems and issues with posture and balance. So should you skip the heels on a special date???
No need to think twice! Valentine's Day is a perfect day to bend the rules. Ooh, la la!

How To Safely Wear High Heels
Do your very best not to wear high heels too often. Alternate your shoes every day if you can.
Wear them here and there but not for long. From the curb to the restaurant. On The Red Carpet. While you're relaxing. I think you get the idea.
If you are going to be a bridesmaid and the bride wants you to walk down the aisle on stilts, convince her otherwise. Walking down the aisle is not the best place to try out your new ultra-high heel strappy sandals. Maybe an elegant pair of satin peep toe heels or simple pumps could be perfect.
Asked to be dropped off at the front door of wherever you are going. High heels are not for parking garages and cobblestone walkways and they are terrible on the lawn!
In prehistoric times our ancestors walked the earth in bare feet. But we all know that evolution has caused women to become deeply obsessed with shoes.
Dream deeply about a pair of 4 inch stilettos or a shiny pair of patent leather red peep toe shoes. Dream until you're ready to take them out for that special occasion.

- I was looking at your red shoes earlier and thought I'd wait until new Valentine's Day to come here but then got to thinking that there are 364 more days in most years that many ladies would love your red high heels...I like looking at them but can't imagine trying to walk in heels, its been too many years...but lovely!
