Hi, Im having difficulty with the contact form "{%contact%}" code module. Once I inserted the module, I do not recieve messages that are left for me. How do I set this up so that when people use my contact form using the "Instert contact module" to recieve e-mails?

    Hi Hypnozell,
Forgive me, but I always start simple, and then move to the more complex - so feel free to continue to ask questions if I don't touch on your issue adequately.
When using the contact form you need to be sure you have entered the appropriate email that you want messages sent to. Double check your spelling.
Are you using a yahoo, gmail, or your own webmail via justhost? Yahoo tends to block messages that they believe are spam - gmail is the most reliable.
Are you able to see the contact form and enter your information? Could you give me the URL where the contact form is located? You can email it to me if you'd like to maintain your privacy: questions@affiliateshelpdesk.com
I'll be able to help you better once I'm able to take a look. Thanks!

I had the exact same problem as Hypnozell. Being a computing professional by trade, I double and triple checked all the obvious things (spelling, options etc etc). After ruling out everything, I decided the code was bad so found the php files and looked through them for mistakes. Anyway, long story short I discovered the problem was..... Hotmail was dumping the emails directly to the junk mail folder. I can't blame Hotmail though, I should have thought of it. In any case, I wanted to share my experience in case any other dimwits like me are out there and didn't think to look there! To help folks find this comment and avoid hours of head-to-desk banging, these are the search words I used to arrive here: justhost.com comment module add-on email site builder & templates

Thanks for sharing your experience. I discovered yahoo was blocking emails from my domain because I hadn't activated my spam filters properly. They thought the spam messages that were being forwarded to me for comment approval were actually from me - so they put a temporary block on my domain until I was able to get the spam under control.
