Who is Justin Bieber

I'm 25, so please don't expect my answer to this question to be:

"omg he's sooo hot and I wanna marry him!!!!1"

I found one of his videos on youtube about 4 years ago (the Justin TImberlake one) and I remember thinking "wow, this guy's good." So I looked at a few more of his videos, and they were all really good.

I also liked the fact that he seemed like just a regular kid. He wasn't cocky about the fact that he could sing, and play guitar, you could tell he just loved what he was doing.

That's why I was so happy to find out that he'd been signed by Usher. You can tell he hasn't let the fame go to his head, he's just so down to earth.

So that's why I like Justin Bieber. He's just a regular kid, who happens to be super talented. And I can't wait to see what he has in store.

So it's a well known fact that before Justin signed with The Island Def Jam Music Group, Usher and Justin Timberlake were both after signing him to their labels.

Justin says he picked Usher because he offered him a better deal, but who do you think he should've gone with? Do you think Justin Timberlake would've done a better job marketing this 15 year old?

Personally, it makes me wonder. I like Usher, but it seems like he's manufactured Justin into a bit of a teeny bopper. If you go to Justin's youtube page, you can listen to several songs off his album played acoustically. I think they sound a hundred times better sung that way. Don't get me wrong, I love his album, but it just seems a bit too commercial. I think Usher should have let Justin sing some of the tracks on his album with his acoustic guitar, instead of all of them sounding all pop R&B.

I also don't like that fact that 6 out of the 7 songs on his first album are love songs. I like them, but Down to Earth (one of my faves) is the ONLY one that's not about a girl. Justin wrote "Where Are You Now?" himself on piano and that's a fantastic song. Fortunately, it's on Part 2 of My World.

My World 2.0 does has a slightly more mature sound, but again it's mostly love songs. That being said, it's still awesome, and has more of an R'n'B vibe to it.
