I'll also bet she was surprised to win! Justin Bieber is so wildly popular, how could anyone expect to win against him? But Esperanza Spalding is a down-to-earth musician whose rise to stardom is assured. She's multi-talented and even has an education and teaching position at UC Berkeley. That's pretty inspirational, you got to admit. She's the "Be All You Can Be" type of girl!

- AWESOME lens there. You know who reminds me of Esperanza Spalding? Yep, Casey Abrams from this year's American Idol. I lensrolled this because I heard Casey was a big fan of Espe.
