This was an awesome work! I have always had problems with physics and this was great. To include paranormal into all this was an outstanding idea! Wow!!! Some good feedback coming in about the book already!! The father-in-law who bought a copy (because I'm so tight-fisted, I wouldn't buy one for him!) said that once he'd picked the book up, he just couldn't put it down!! However, I did smear the cover with superglue!!

The Kaluza Concept
Joky Book Synopsis.
Introduction : An outline of various paranormal events through the ages which are viewed with open - mouthed amazement and tagged "unexplained", or "from beyond".
The Kaluza Concept Itself : The reiteration of an age old suspicion that there exist extra dimensions, brought into the scientific arena by Kaluza - Klein Theory.
Cohesion From Disparity : This chapter looks on these extra dimensions in a new perspective, perhaps with the head held slightly to one side and one eye slightly shut to block out the white noise crap that everday life throws at us!
The Intangible Consciousness : Runs over a few novel ideas on the actual nature of consciousness, whilst stamping on the heads of the reductionists who think we're just fleshy robots! Y'know, when you're dead, you're dead, and all that implausible stuff. Also views consciousness as living a kind of double life, with one finger firmly trapped in the higher dimensional ethereal red hot pie.
Dancing in Higher Space (with tears in your eyes!) : Well, actually, it's made reasonably painless with nice pretty piccies to take you on a gentle roller coaster ride along the fringes of Special Relativity, only, when you're just getting comfortable, and nearly out of the chapter home and dry, to wang you flailing and screaming into a place of blinding white light where you realise that Relativity is just the beginning, a 30 mile per hour speed limit sign backed up by a speed camera.
Hitching a Ride on a Reality : Introduces some pretty but strange ideas from Physics and relates them to consciousness in a pretty but strange way, which stretches the imagination like one of those rubber bands which hang out in the bottom of bric a brac drawers for no apparent reason.
Realities Surfing the Quantum Wave : Enters the forbidden realm of Quantum Physics, entered only by brave souls armed with eigenvalues, complex weightings and an infantry of statistics, bringing this notoriously baffling subject to bear on the ideas of the last chapter involving consciousness, and its involvement in skating around on multiple realities.
Parking in Hilbert's Space : Glues all the ideas introduced so far into a nice, easy on the eye, oblong thingy so as you don't keep having to flick back through the book to remember what the -- I'm on about!
The Flow of Entropy : A brief run-through of the concept of entropy, putting this under a strange kind of spotlight which kind of makes it explain certain concepts in Relativity, especially when espoused in a shotgun kind of way with a resurrected idea on the nature of old father time himself. The end game of this chapter forces entropy to be closely involved with the concept of multiple realities.
The Case for Other Realities : Cites a case for how things pan out in the universe in the long run, and how this fits in rather snugly with the idea that multiple realities are a going concern, as opposed to an arena for wild-haired madmen salivating in the attic. Also ties this in with concepts covered in the Quantum Physics bit involving uncertainty. This chapter bows out by rolling all the ideas introduced so far into a nice, fluffy ball that you can cuddle (or whatever) in bed and mull over in the bath.
The Conscious Sphere : A serious contender for the actual title of the book (but it didn't roll off the tongue as well), this final chapter is the theosophical one which uses the strange idea of retrocausation to make a case for, strangely enough, our own consciousness giving birth to our own consciousness to give rise to our own consciousness..you get the drift(!). This bit is the coup de grace of the whole book, and probably puts the sciency bit in the shade of a vast, cosmic umbrella!
So, that's it then...in a nutshell..an M'n'M..the meaning of life in a gnat's wotsit!

Instead of Being With a "Real" Publisher?
Having scribed feverishly into the night by the light of a guttering candle, for alas, the electricity meter hungered for a farthing, I finished my weighty tome and said unto myself, "Lo! I must this manuscript publish, for the world is a darker place without the toothy wisdom contained herein!"
Thus, by the light of the early milk float, I trudged wearily through haunted forests haggled by hags and came unto a dilapidated monastery with "Traditional Publisher" scrawled on the rotting portal! I entered lonely as a creak to be confronted by a cardboard effigy of an editor, who spake thus:"What hast thou which weighest so heavily in thine rucksack, my barnacle encrusted Morris Traveller?" At this, I rendered unto him my manuscript to which he replied, "Although thy furry tales hath merit, thou art indistinguishable from Adam, a first time awful, thus with 500 quid must thou cross our palms, lest thy project fall into the swamp". Shaking with Stevens, I produced my dusty leather purse and tipped the gubbins into the palm of his tree: 3 shillings and sixpence and a 25 year old Caramac for a rainy day!
Inadequately, I creaked back into the forest, but came upon a verdant glade, wherein sat a gleaming marble effigy with "Lulu Self Publishing" tattoed thereon! "Lobbest thou thine tome to me, my quivering propshaft, and thou canst keep thy Caramac....I'll do it for free!"
So here I reside, in Lululand, with the sound of dilapidated buildings crashing in the trees!

My View on the Nature of Synchronicity.
For the Spiritual Speculators on Squidoo!
They do say that the more synchronicity you experience, the more likely it is that you are leading your physical existence as previously planned! About this "previously planned" part! In my opinion, each of our life experiences, which are infinite in diversity, are pre-planned by our higher consciousness which is in an integrated state with everyone else's higher consciousness, above and beyond time as we experience it. Through this medium, our lifetimes are carefully planned to enrich our experience and increase the sophistication of our consciousness. Synchronicities, I feel, are pre-built into our physical lives to remind us, subconsciously, that we're on the pre-planned route and also to vaguely jog our memories that there's something more than that which we experience physically!!
