Imperial Kamado Grills are high quality ceramic smokers that can be used for smoking, grilling, and traditional outdoor oven cooking. Ceramic Barbeques are known for having extremely consistent cooking temperatures and a very even heat distribution across the entire cooking surface.

About the Kamado Grill

The Kamado Grill is probably one of the first modern ceramic barbeques ever designed. Conceived by a US serviceman in the 1960's Kamado has grown into the premier name for Ceramic Barbeque grills.

Many chefs and amatuer cooks alike swear by using ceramic ovens like the Kamado for the excellent heat distribution and consistent temperatures that can be achieved with the units.

I have a Komodo Kamado. they are in a class of their own in terms of build quality and performance. They cost 3x the others but you get quality. Over 82lbs of 304 stainless on a ceramic. Check out their forum too. komodokamado.com

It ios my opinion that is you are planning on buying a Kamado grill/smoker that you should not buy one from www.kamado.com
They do not stand by their products and they do not have the slightest idea of what constitutes customer service. I waited for almost 7 months to receive my pit and it was damaged. I have yet to receive the replacement parts or promised refund for missing parts as was promised by Richard Johnson.

I have a large Kamado bought over 30 years ago. Is there an easier way to get rid of mold besides burning charcoal? Also, the draft door is pretty rusted and I can't open it all the way. Is it replaceable and where and how do I replace it? Thanks!
