Look Like A Million Bucks for Pennies On A Dollar
How to spark that summer wardrobe

Summer is your time to shine when it comes to accessories, so go for it. No one looks twice at a neon pink bangle or a turquoise Pebbles Flintstone necklace worn to a luau with that little black dress; and everyone suddenly admires the guy in a necktie covered in the loudest of flowers.
Women looking to keep in step with runway trends will need something in the black- and-white combination that's here to stay for a while (it could be anything from one of the new headbands to a handbag or shoe). For those who want to take things higher, get a pair of stilettos in a pattern or a red or yellow patent leather to step up your summery look. Goddess sandals, definitely. A wedge, absolutely.
Guys, augment your wardrobe with Sperry Top Siders for a casual shoe (perfect for boat trips as well). Get a nice-looking sneaker in must- have white, and a sandal that's comfortable but that won't be questioned when you walk into a good restaurant. Don't forget a dressy slip-on.
Cocktail rings for women are a must in this summer of bold jewelry --both in color and size. These supersized rings need not be anything but costume jewelry, because they're not expected to be a trend for too long. What's new is that you can wear them during the day now instead of just in the evening. Remember, the latest runway trends dictate to go dressier wherever you are, or at the very least look neat and put together.
Things nautical have been conservative classics for summer for both male and female forever, but now they've joined the trendy brigade in accessories from cuff links to earrings.
Bagging an oversized bag is for everyone's summer to-do list. They pack function as well as style. Use them for papers for work or carrying those flip-flops and towels to the beach. Pack everything in one bag and be ready for anything.
Men in particular should bag their own style with distressed-look canvas totes in messenger styles, overnighters and backpacks in khakis and olives that can suit a suit for work or a pair of patchwork bermudas. And for this year of the khaki, men need a burst of color, like a watch with a bright orange band or a vibrant tie.
Retro styles are everywhere. Men in love with the past, buy a great vintage watch. Women, get that large mod watch channeling the '60s and a pair of oversized Jackie O sunglasses like those seen on celebs from Paris Hilton and Lind
