Board Breaking
All you need to get in some thin Styrofoam sheets and cut them down into 2' x 3' pieces. Then have someone brave hold them in their hands and have each party guest come up with a good kick and break the boards. The kids will love this.

How High can you Kick
See which party guest can give their best Karate Kick and see who is able to kick the highest.

Block and Kick
Have some stuffed animals available and or Bean bags. The kids then get in line and one by an adult tosses a stuffed animals and the child has to see if they can deflect The child should try to deflect them using the blocks and kicks. Keep going until all the kids have had a turn.

I found these cupcakes on a blog by The Cake Ninja a different take on the cupcakes shown above. I think they are a great option for your Karate Theme Birthday Party.

Here is what the The Cake Ninja Said they did to create them:

I started out dipping the cupcakes in peach tinted glaze to create a smooth surface for the faces. Next, I piped the black for the uniform on each one and smoothed it out. After the black came the red. I piped the white on to define the lines of the uniform. The belt came next, and then the faces. I wanted to give them a variety of faces to give the cupcakes more character.
