An Organizational Showcase of writings by Kathy McGraw

Before I can organize, I need to write. I love to write. Writing has been my salvation for so many years, especially during the dark years of growing up. As with everything my writing has evolved with my life experiences.

Although I love to write, I have never liked what I call "Demand Writing" where someone gives you a topic and you write about it. I prefer to write whatever is in my heart or soul at the time, whether it is inspirational, motivational, or humorous. Sometimes I write to clear my mind, sometimes to help someone else. Regardless of what I write, I try to do it in a way that whoever reads it can relate, think, learn or just have fun (including me).

Below I have Organized my writings in a way that you can find them easier. If you want to read something funny or light, then go to that area. More writings will be added as they are completed.

Traveling has opened up the world for me. I've been to several countries in Europe and Eastern Europe. Traveling to different countries can be daunting at times, trying to figure out the money, lodging, food, and places to go. With that in mind I have given some tips for people that might be planning to visit the places I wrote about.

A Beautiful City, Prague is the Capital of the Czech Republic,formerly Czechoslovakia. I have been there twice now, and love it.

The Forks, WA one was a self-guided Twilight tour of the Olympic Peninsula town, and surrounding area where the Book and Film "Twilight" were created.

Valley of Fire is a spiritual place for me. A place that calms me, and I can never go enough times.

Not everyone likes to give their opinion on Controversial Subjects, but every now and then my dander flares up, and I write. Here are a few things I wrote that not everyone would agree with, but that's OK too.

I have several Grandkids, and have worked with kids most of my life. The writings in this Category are the fun things that either involve kids, or are just lighthearted ones.

Fly Soup This particular story was developed by my Grandkids. I gave them a subject and they had to use various skills to complete the writing assignment.
