My Favourite Lens Tricks

Well, they really aren't tricks, but more my favourite HTML or CSS codes. I thought I would create a lens, to keep all these in one place that is easy for me to find!

If you are interested in learning about these or other really cool tricks, I have included My Help Library in the Featured Lenses below. On this lens I have included a list of very helpful lenses by our very talented lensmasters.

I have a few more to add to this lens, so this will be a work in progress.

<p style="padding: 10px; background-color: #FFFFCC; border: solid 3px #000000;">TEXT GOES HERE

* dashed * dotted * double * groove * inset * outset * ridge * solid

<p style="border: double 6px #C0C0C0; padding-top: 10px; padding-bottom: 10px; padding-left: 10px; padding-right: 10px;">TEXT GOES HERE

Image Wrapping

<img src="http://www.yourimage.jpg" style="float: left; margin: 0px 15px 0px 0px;" />Text goes here

1st margin (0px) is for the top spacing of the image
2nd is for the margin on the right
3rd for the margin underneath
4th for the margin on the left hand side.

This example has the style as left, so your image is sitting on the left side of the text.

The text information would be here over to the right of the image.

Image wrapping with border

<img style="float: right; padding: 10px; margin: 5px; border: 10px solid #000000;"src="http://www.yourimage.jpg" />Text goes here

The image is on the right side of the text.

The text that you type will now be sitting over to the left of the image.

    Yet another helpful lens. I know the very basic html (and when I say basic, I mean REALLY basic...lol), so this gives me some more options to make my lenses more attractive. Thank you!
