I paint and sculpt female fantasy art and map faery tale adventures, testing erotica . I dream of beautiful women on canvas and art of exotic women.

I have illustrated for Hay House Inc.,"Women Who Do Too Much" CARDS taken from Anne Wilson Schaef's book. I also illustrated for Neil Davidson, who was considered for the Pulitzer Prize in feature writing, and several other publications. My paintings are collected worldwide.

FEEL BOMBARDED? LOL! ME TOO! I think at times I am coo coo.. this isn't even the half of it.. waa.

Sooo have some cookies!

Kathy's Chocolate Chip Cookies

Cream together:
1 cup 'real' butter (not margarine!)
1 1/2 cup sugar
1 1/2 Tbl. black strap molasses
1 tsp. salt
add and blend two eggs
don't overdo this part or your cookies will turn out weird.

sift together then fold into sugar mixture:
2 1/2 cups flour, 1 tsp. baking soda

add and mix to above mixture:
1 cup coconut
3/4 cup old fashioned oatmeal
2 full cups chocolate chips

Bake at 325 degrees for about 12 minutes. Use only an old junkie cookie sheet... not one of the new ones, they tend to make these cookies cake. Take the cookies out 'just a hair BEFORE they are done'. Let them finish up after they come out of the oven.

Artist's Statement:

I want reach deeper and find all the things about my own being. I want to understand the passion I long to paint and comprehend what those emotions are.

Passion has a sense of violence about it, it is strong and it survives aggression. I don't want to paint passive art.. I want feel the obsession of lust inside its raw and primal pursuit. Within passion one finds a boldness full of enticing ambitions to grasp on to, that piece of your heart that presses you to go past the mark of a bystander, that spot you may have been told to stay put on.

It is not possible to feel apathetic when standing next to passion. I don't paint landscapes to hang above someone's couch, paintings meant to be a resting place for the mind? I want to paint feelings that one cannot dismiss. I hope to stir up feelings that overwhelm within the viewer as well as myself. It is not my goal to feel nothing but a sunny day or peacefulness, shiny trinkets that rest on walls that can be walked away from. I want to paint women who feel something. I paint myself as I define it and revel in the fact that I am made whole by my own journey of introspection.

I want to paint strength, sexuality, pain, power, a force of intensity, emotional qualities that generate a reaction. I don't want to paint the sky, I want to paint the dominance of the wind that caused it to be felt on ones skin, in the form of a woman. I pick up my brush or clay between my fingers and consider a certain belligerence, an attitude of confidence that meets the power I need to form an energy outside myself and I welcome it in. I paint or sculpt until I hear them breathing and their breath becomes my own.

I paint myself as I try to define the energy that is indeed my own sexuality but also all women whether they accept that part of themselves or not.

Roses in each whimsical angel pictures hand.

Don't polish the roses unless you plan to keep them
they told me that they don't like being touched
and so I won't.

Clear intent
a line of chalk
gentle yet cumbersome
if you want to go chasing rainbows.

Whats the matter with those bells?
neglected and yet
they continue ringing.
I never wondered why
until we buried the roses.

Pink mountains
invite the tainted noise
bells ring
reminding me roses were once present.

Lily, past the brazen trail
tried to save them
or maybe not.
I guess she was not breathing after all.
I thought I understood her goal.

She used to comb my hair for me
never how I liked it
but still
at least she knew how to weave the colors.
I never thought it was an intrusion
until now of course.
Now that the roses have been drowned.

Dying words
fragrance misunderstood
or maybe missing altogether?
We should never mess with nature
that's what Lily always says.

If I conform will you?
Will you Lily?
If we gather clippings
will you help me?

Have pity on the wounded bird
that is somehow us.
Set flowers on your table
noting the present and the past.
Penetrate the clouds
interrupt the rain
call it a special day.

Oh Lily!
I take so much back.
You shine where I couldn't
it is all a falsehood
those notions we grieved over.
Healing is actually blended
and roses that fell short
surface when sorrow is embraced.
Know that victim
and she will heal you.

I've met my mentor
coaxed from the devil
older
this woman at a gallery
we knew her when we were young.
I stroked that line
savored antics that seemed off limits
held up by all those boundaries
crumbling before our eyes.
Truth be told
it is they
that bells chime for.
Or maybe thats just me that thinks so.

After I find you again Lily
can we make a pact?
Lets assume that mistakes can meet cures
and once paraded above the wet ground
where all those roses lie
we will know
once again
their sorrow is fleeting.

"Shallow Grave"

1. Bury my rifle
in a shallow grave
covered with dust in a hideaway
up in the hills it was paradise
down below tears fill my eyes

2. Bodies lined up
on a chopper pad
flown in by birds of prey
forty years doesn't change a thing
I wish I could just walk away

3. I cover my songs
in layers of blood
it's just too hard to see
memories that fade return in the night
they won't let go of me.

4. Don't need your words
of sympathy
it doesn't work that way
you can't understand what you've never seen
if you've never been blown away.

Break:

Changes, changes
I've never needed you more
the view from the top
isn't quite the same
when you're soaked in blood on the floor
you can't stand up
you just can't open the door
no way to find that door.

5. Crossing the night
my chariots on fire
to the depths of Mauna Kea
into the sea this ball of flame
like the path of Kilauea.

6. Wrapped in a shroud
of babies dreams
covered with snow and ice
boots marching through the night
while up in the hills it's still paradise.

7. Two hundred and twenty volts
running through my veins
I'm pinned against the wall
take me now to the dead of night
let mercy break my fall.
