Katrina Halili was born in Quezon City on January 4, 1986 but however grew up in El Nido Palawan and took her early education there. Katrina first tried her luck into showbiz through the StarStruck Talent Search of GMA-7 and she convincingly get the nod of the judges and the viewing public.
In 2005, she shocked the Philippines with her sexy and daring pictures in the cover of FHM Philippines' December issue. A year later, she was voted as the FHM Philippines' sexiest Filipina actress and she bagged that award again in 2007. Katrina Halili is the only Filipina Celebrity to have won the title twice in a row.
Due to her beauty, appeal and looks, Katrina is called the "Paris Hilton of the Philipines" by some movie critics.

Sex Video Sandal with Dr. Hayden Kho
It was supposed that the person behind the leak of the videos to Internet was a certain Eric Johnson Chua, a close friend and fraternity brother of Hayden Kho. Sen. Ramon Revilla Jr., in his privilege speech, denounced Kho's acts and would file a case for the removal of Dr. Kho's license. The PRC has started its investigation in this issue.
She is also consulting with the women's rights group GABRIELA regarding the legal actions that will be placed against Kho. She has since attended a Senate Hearing where she denounced Hayden Kho.
Dr. Kho's mother revealed in a national television about Katrina and Hayden's use of illegal drugs. Due to that expose, the Philippine Drug Enforcement Agency or PDEA entered the scene and summoned Katrina and Hayden. Drug tests made to the couple rendered a negative result.
As of this writing, Katrina has already filed lawsuits against people whom she thinks are behind the distribution of her sex video.
