Beach cottage View There are several options to consider when planning on where everyone is to stay. Sometimes it is easier to just let guests find their own hotel or vacation rental. But, often the couple would like to have family and close friends nearby just before the wedding.

While you can always plan to stay in the same motel, there is a far more intimate option. There are many Vacation Rental properties on Kauai that allow you to stay in private cottages right next to the beach. One favorite is the Hale Makai Cottages.

Hale Makai Cottages has 5 cottages scattered in a private garden right on the edge of the beach. This allows guests to have the privacy of their own beach cottage while still being only a few yards away so that the group can enjoy the Kauai Together.

Accommodations can even be made to allow the wedding to take place in their private gardens.

A word of caution: Some Motels and Vacation Rental Properties claim to be near the beach, when really they are Many blocks away. Be sure to find out where they really are before booking.

I've personally stayed at the Hale Makai Cottages, They have 5 collages surrounding their own garden. The closest cottage has a deck that overhangs the beach. The furthest cottage is probably less than a 30-40 yard walk across their garden. The property is literally beach side!
