You absolutely love kawaii stuff, but you want something unique, something no one has in their collection!! Where do you find those unique cute items??

Let's face it! Kawaii items are absolutely cute, and you must absolutely have them for your collection. Your reputation as a kawaii lover depends on your collection. You already have a collection of Japanese kawaii items: Hello Kitty, Cinnamoroll, Little Twin Stars, My Melody from Sanrio and Tarepanda, Nyan Nyan Nyanko, Monokuro Boo from San-X and etc. But you know, one of your fellow collectors already has them in their collection. You want something super kawaii, something super pretty, yet you yearn for something unique no one has. And you want to show them off. Where do you find them?

You are not at loss!!

Welcome to the World of Super Kawaii Items from Korea.

Hi, there! I'm kawaii paradise.

It's so nice to meet y'all =^.^=

Before I go any further about kawaii items from Korea, I would like to introduce myself. I am kawaii paradise and own kawaii stationery store: kawaiiparadise on bonanzle. You may know me as orangeleo because I used to have an eBay store with that name. Of course, my eBay store's been closed quite a while.

I will be mainly talking about items I have in my store. Grab a cup of hot tea/coffee/hotchoco/ice cold beer/martini/cosmopolitan or whichever you prefer, sit back comfortably and browse thru my stores.

What does Kawaii mean?

Kawaii means 'cute' in Japanese. The word can be used for describing a person or a thing. Of course, there is a word for cute in Korean, but due to complex phonetics (Korean is a phonetic language), it is difficult to spell out with the English alphabet (it can be spelled many different ways depending on who is spelling it).

They are super cute and all brand new!!

Check them out at my store: www.kawaiiparadise.com on bonanzle.
I found that bonanzle to be clean and easy to use both as a buyer and seller. Plus, buyers don't have to register with the site to purchase from bonanzle sellers, and I really like that =)

Korean Kawaii Stickers =^.^=

There are several different types of stickers I carry: puffy or cushy stickers (sometimes called sponge stickers), glitter stickers, sack stickers (already individually die cut stickers in a plastic sack), felt stickers, keyboard stickers and much, much more.

Cute Memo Pads and Note Pads =^.^=

This is part of stationery. There are two major types - bound at the spine by glue type and metal/plastic spiral type - but I carry mostly spiral types.

Kawaii and Pretty Letter Sets =^.^=

Also part of stationery. A typical Korean Letter Set consists of 6 sheets of writing papers and 3 matching envelopes. They are really cute and extremely pretty, and often times girly girly.

Pretty Letter Pads =^.^=

These items are essentially the same as Note Pads. Most of the Letter Pads are glued at the spine type. They typically feature 5 to 9 different designs and consist of 50 to 80 sheets. Every once in a while, a letter pad comes with matching or plain envelopes.

Super Cute and functional Planners =^.^=

Also part of stationery and sometime called Scheduler. There are so many kawaii planners in Korea. Basically, there are two types of planners: ones with printed dates and ones without printed dates. I carry only planners without printed dates, so you can start using them any time of the year.

When you shop for Planner, you need to consider which type of planner you need: monthly, weekly and monthly and weekly combination. Usually weekly planners are thicker and bulkier.

Kawaii Character Notebooks =^.^=

Great gift ideas for students. Again there are glued at the spine type and metal or plastic spiral type. When you shop for kawaii notebooks, be sure to remember notebooks are bigger than note memo pads and weigh more (especially if the notebook has a thick hardcover), so sometimes the shipping costs can be more than the notebook price.

Don't be worried! You can take advantage of the weight of the notebooks, especially if sellers use flat rate methods offered by USPS: for example, Priority Flat Rate Envelope or Priority International Flat Rate Envelope. Ask the seller what the shipping costs will be if you are interested in Notebooks and several other smaller items.

Cute, Pretty and Character Pens, Pencils, Pencil Cases =^.^=

Colored ball point pens, colored gel ink pens, highlighter markers, multi color pens (multi colored pen in a body case), mechanical pencils (many with a little charm), and wooden pencils.

Pencil cases has three major types: metal tin pencil case, fabric pencil case (which can be used as a cosmetic pouch) and hardboard body pencil case.

Good Quality Cute Erasers =^.^=

Erasers from Korea are of very high quality. They don't smudge the paper and produce thick and less filings (not fine dust type of eraser filings).

There are two major types I carry: regular erasers and eraser pens.

Regular erasers are usually rectangular in shape and have a piece of paper wrapped around them (with super kawaii designs printed on it).

Eraser pens utilize long cylindrical or rectangular erasers. There are click type (just like mechanical pencils) and twist type. Remember that you might have a hard time finding refills for the eraser pens. In my case, I never fully used the eraser pen, because I always found another super 'cute' kawaii eraser pen. I know it's a waste, but I can't help it LOL.

Famous Korean Kawaii Characters and Companies =^.^=

There are so many companies in Korea that make fancy items. Fancy is what we Korean call cute items: stationery and small accessories. But many of these fancy companies are small and not known outside of Korea.

One company that is famous outside of Korea is Morning Glory (I practically grew up using their products =^.^=). They have many characters but Blue Bear and Pink Bear are their most famous characters outside of Korea.

Pucca is one of the most well known characters from Korea. Many people believe that Pucca is a Japanese character, but Pucca is actually a character created in Korea.

There are a select few 'fancy companies' that have obtained license from Disney to market their character in Korea. Combining with their knowledge of Korean Fancy Market, they produce super cute Disney Character items and they are usually not available outside of Korea.

Sanrio Korea also makes super kawaii Hello Kitty items. These items are usually only available in Korea and hard to find outside of Korea.
