This lens is about my 2008 Chevrolet Silverado Duramax Diesel
I bought the truck I had been dreaming of for a long time. I have always wanted a diesel pick up. I decided not to buy a used diesel because you never know how the previous own took care of the truck. If diesels are not serviced properly you can run into big problems. So I decided to buy a brand new truck. I love my truck, and it puts a smile on my face every time I drive it. I plan to have this truck for a long time, hopefully I will never have to sell it. I was amazed to hear that my friends Duramax just turned over 480,000 miles, with no major problems!
First place in truck show!
Over the summer I went to a truck show called, Hank's 4X4 Jamboree. I decided I should enter my Silverado into the show and shine under stock class. I did not think I was going to win any thing, but I figured I would give it a try. At the end of the weekend when they were announcing the winners of the show and shine they called my name for first place. I could not believe I one first place. I won my first trophy, and I hope to add to my collection. Hank's 4X4 Jamboree is held in LaSalle Illinois every year in the third week of august. If you like trucks you should come see the show.

Duramax power!
My Silverado is equiped with a Duramax 6.6 liter diesel engine. It puts out 660 foot pounds of torque in stock form. I plan to do mods to add more power. by kbruns5649
