This meme is also known as the Conspiracy Keanu. It features a still photo of Keanu from the 1989 film "Bill and Ted's Excellent Adventure," which some consider one of his most recognizable roles. Personally, I think the rest of the world knows him from the Matrix Trilogy.

But I digress! In this picture Keanu is sporting a face full of confusion and fear, and this meme is usually paired with captions that exhibit undertones of paranoia, and illogical and shallow forms of philosophy, even phrases and quotes that have been popularized by pop culture.

Otherwise known as Keanu is Sad meme. The image for this meme was captured by a paparazzi photographer, who snapped an image of Keanu sitting on a park bench and mildly enjoying a sandwich, or should I say sadwich. I have to give credit to this photographer for really capturing some of Keanu's real emotional range, which I think the big screen has failed to do in many of his movies. The popularity of Sad Keanu triggered a spin off of other memes as well.
