Keep Warm on Golf Course - How to Golf When Cold
Ranked #4,856 in Sports & Recreation, #122,746 overall
Play Golf Despite the Cold Weather
The problem is keeping warm enough to play well. Cold hands affect the feel for the club, while too many warm clothes make it hard to get the proper turn needed for a golf swing. Although I live in Central Florida, even here some cold mornings try to spoil our golf outing. Over the years, I've discovered some ways to keep warm on the golf course and still be able to play a decent game of golf. Warm up your golf with some of the equipment and clothing I've gathered here for you.

A golf cart enclosure can block out wind and chill
Get a Golf Cart Heater
This one is made by Coleman and is available from Amazon
Coleman GolfCat Perfectemp Catalytic Propane Heater
We have one of these and it puts out an amazing amount of heat in a short time. Of course, it works best if you have an enclosed golf cart so it can warm up a small space, not the whole outdoors.
Usually ships in 1-2 business days
Seat Warmer for the Golf Cart
Wow, what a great idea!
Heated Core Heat Golf Cart Seat Cover, Battery Powered
Includes one rechargeable 7V 4Ah lithium-ion battery and charger that weighs less than 6 ounces and has a 5-level microprocessor controller built right in.
A customer on Amazon said, "Thanks to whoever figured out how to make early morning and cold weather golf so much more pleasant! Nothing like a nice warm cart seat to ride around 18 holes in when the weather's chilly! Makes a great gift for your early morning golfer, and will give them a welcome advantage over other players trying to keep their hands warm! "

Keep a Windshirt in the Golf Bag

Not Too Chilly? Switch to the Short Sleeved Windshirt
My husband loves his when it's not cold enough for a full windshirt
Carry a Golf Vest for Chilly Days
This one's a great buy from Amazon

Men's Mizuno 2007 WindLite Vest

If you keep your torso warm, then you'll play better. A vest leaves your arms free for a good swing. These look good with a collared golf shirt or with a turtleneck. Be aware that some courses do not allow a mock turtleneck, but a full-turtleneck pullover is usually OK.
Keep Warm with This Polo Top under Your Golf Shirt on Cold Days
by Under Armour
"I have owned several Under Armour short sleeve polos and they have looked great and lasted for years. I bought this long sleeve version for slightly cooler weather and it fits the bill perfectly. Can wear instead of a sweater, it's sporty but professional. Highly recommended."
"I'm a big fan of Under Armor's short-sleeve and long-sleeve Performance polos. This long-sleeve polo looks very attractive, is durable wash after wash, and is super comfortable. You won't be disappointed!"
"You just can't go wrong with Under Armor. Fit and feel are always perfect, and style is impeccable."

- My cutoff is forty degrees. It also helps to keep warm by walking the course. Nice lens.

- My hubby golfs a couple of times a week. He loves wearing the wind shirt in cooler weather. I am a great putter but can't swing a club to save my life. Maybe with some regular practice, I might improve but I prefer the pitch and putt golf course. :)
