1: What you should ideally do is go to your start menu, all programs, accessories, system tools and then System Restore and create a new Restore Point. What this will do is make a new save point so that you can roll back to that time before you start cleaning incase you delete somthing that you did'nt want to lose.

2 : Second lets start by getting rid of all the adware etc (and maybe a few viruses and trojans if your unlucky)

You need to download spyware doctor from Google

Now you dont need everything on the list so you can uncheck it or keep it its up to you.
Run Spyware Doctor and start a scan then fix the errors.
that's it voila done :)

3 : The Registry. The registry is where the computer store's information on where your program's are e.g when you open Microsoft word it will look here to find where it is. Problem with the registry is that all the adware and such store thing's here aswell and even when you have got rid of the adware the computer will still waste time trying to find these programs on start up wasteing memory and time.

4 : Now we move onto cleaning up the harddrive
Goto your start menu, all programs, accessories, system tools, disk cleanup what this will do is clean up all those tempory internet file's etc left over form all your surfing and a bunch of other stuff.

5 : Next Goto your start menu, all programs, accessories, system tools, disk defragmenter
What this will do is re-order all your file's so your computer can find them faster as it knows where they are saving more time and memory.

P.S This is about how to make your computer 99.9% free of all the above.

What this will do is create a computer inside a computer, only a really small one that will run a firefox browser. You can use it like a normal browser but all the adware and everything else etc will go into here and not be installed on your computer, because when you shut the virtual machine down it will get rid of it all.

So lets start

Now I went through the process and found that the virtual machine is

and the link to the Browser applicatation is in fact here

and you need to get www.bittorrent.com/ to download it. also check the page closely as there is a link to just start downloading instead of signing up for the promotion. You will need to open up bit torrent and then open the browser app torrent and download.

Once you have the virtual machine and the zip file for the virtual browser take the folder from the zip file to your desktop (or where ever you want it), this might take a few seconds.

Then start the virtual machine and choose the open symbol at the top, then find your folder with the virtual browser in it. It will only let you select the one file so choose that one.

It will take a little bit to start and when it does chose the copy option. (if this option is not there than don't worry , just carry on)

Now what you will have is a Firefox browser inside your very own virtual computer. Click inside the window to use it and press ctrl and alt together to go back to your windows screen.

I know it's all a pain in the arse for someone who does'nt know computers much or just aint got time but if your serious about your computer's security then this is where you need to go.
