Keep your Cool in the Summer Heat

Keep Cool with a Cooling Hat or Bandana

How about wearing a cooling device? You can get a cap with a fan mounted in just the right place. Or a hat that uses evaporative cooling. Evaporative cooling uses water - you get the hat wet and the evaporation of the water has a cooling effect, it works best when the air is dry, i.e. in low humidity. The neck bandana contains a pack that can be frozen to keep you cool - you can get spare ice packs so there will always be another one ready.

A solar powered cooling hat? Now that is special. I've been reading on a trend with some athletes to dunk themselves in ice water prior to the event (running, biking) to keep themselves from heating too fast. You never know do you? Great lens.
