The Muna Bros. Book
"Why Go To Film School?"
They've compiled their notes from practical real-world experiences as well as the best of their film school textbook teachings into "Why Go To Film School?"; a simple and easy-to-read filmmaking book that has helped many aspiring first-time filmmakers begin efficient and solid productions.
These methods were practiced during the production of their feature film debut, "Shiro's Head - The Legend" which is currently in post-production.
Here are just a couple of reader testimonials:
"Thanks so much for providing this great e-book! This is a great intro into filmmaking. I am fairly experienced and I found some helpful hints, and whenever somebody comes to me with an idea for a project, I refer them to your book so that they can have a better idea of what is involved in filmmaking, what they need to consider and what role they are looking to play. The sample release forms are also a great addition."

"This is a great book for people pursuing their dreams on becoming a filmmaker, or people who are just trying to get started. It does not matter if you have a lot of knowledge or no knowledge on filmmaking, there's something for you in this book. My first ever short film was filmed in 4 hours with one MiniDV camcorder at a friend's house. I have never gone to film school and make these shorts as learning experiences. I wish I would have had the "Why Go To Film School" book beforehand as it would have helped me out a lot."
