Kelty Grand Mesa 2-Person Tent

The Kelty Grand Mesa is one of the best two-person dome tents. It sets up with just two poles, and has clips to fasten the tent to the poles, which is sometimes easier than threading through sleeves. With the door on the end instead of on the side, this tent is a little different than any I've used before, but I can see the advantage for offering two-person access with only one door.

This Kelty Grand Mesa freestanding tent, with only one vestibule, offers a little less covered space for storing gear than other tents, but I like the full-coverage rain fly. The more area covered by the fly, the warmer you'll be in cold weather and the less condensation you'll get inside the tent. This tent also has the bathtub floor and factory-taped seams for waterproof construction. There's a lot of mesh, too, for good ventilation, and pockets inside to help you keep track of your small items.
