Kemba Walker Leads UCONN to the 2011 NCAA National Championship as a Junior

Kemba Walker is an American Basketball player who was born on May 8, 1990. Walker played high school basketball at Rice High School in Harlem, NY where he earned McDonald's All America and Team USA U18 honors. Kemba began his college career in the 2008-2009 NCAA Basketball season playing in 29 games and starting in 1. In the 2009-2010 season, Walker emerged as the starting point guard for the Huskies racking more than 1,000 minutes as a Sophomore.

What we are seeing now is that Kemba Walker is arguably the best point guard in NCAA basketball. Walker made his case in the round of 16 when he led his #3 seeded UCONN Huskies past the #2 seeded San Diego State Aztecs with a 36 point performance. Walker didn't leave the court and played all 40 minutes of the game.

The 2011 NCAA Men's Basketball Tourney is now over and the UCONN Huskies are going home with the National Championship Trophy. If you ask me, Kemba Walker has got to be considered the best college basketball player of the 2010-2011 NCAA Basketball Season.
