The Kennedy-Lincoln Bizarre Coincidences

I'm not a good writer but I'm a very wide reader and today, as I was sifting through the Squidoo website (again!), a thought ran into my mind and two names popped out (again!): Kennedy and Lincoln, and I instantly remembered about the story that I've heard way back in High School, which was around 25 years ago about the eerie and bizarre coincidences that these two former dead U.S. Presidents had and to think that both of them are 100 years apart!

For sure, the younger generation today can't recall these coincidences that are now considered as the weirdest and most celebrated of all coincidences and I would be very glad to share this with the young ones...

And for the "young once" like me, this would be a great time to remember these coincidences once again and try to ponder on things on which I don't have any idea about....Maybe, if we all can ponder about these unsure things simultaneously, we could be summoning those aliens and other beings from other planets and give us clue to what has happened why things like these ever existed.

But then, again, this is for serious fun and entertainment only. This can also help clear those cobwebs in our minds and let us think....again, even just for a few minutes....

The Kennedy-Lincoln Concidences

Abraham Lincoln was elected to Congress in 1846.
John F. Kennedy was elected to Congress in 1946.

John F. Kennedy was elected President in 1960.

Both were particularly concerned with civil rights.
Both wives lost their children while living in the White House.

Now it gets really weird....

Lincoln 's secretary was named Kennedy.
Kennedy's Secretary was named Lincoln .

Both were succeeded by Southerners named Johnson.

Andrew Johnson, who succeeded Lincoln , was born in 1808.
Lyndon Johnson, who succeeded Kennedy, was born in 1908.

Lee Harvey Oswald, who assassinated Kennedy, was born in 1939.

Are These Coincidences or What?

1.) Fold a $20-bill in half....


2) Fold again, taking care to fold it exactly as below


3) Fold the other end, exactly as before

4)Now, simply turn the bill over....

(????????)

BUT, THAT IS NOT ENOUGH...ONE MORE!!

With a simple $20-bill, you fold it to reveal...


And for the grand finale... a simple addition:

911....9 + 11 = 20!

Boy! This is way too interesting to pass up!
