best sewing machine I've run across yet

went thru several newer plastic machines before I found this at the Flea for $20.
its a Kenmore Model 1760, zig zag sewing machine, from the early 70s, its heavy and nicely overbuilt.
compared to the noisy plastic machines it is virtually silent and a true pleasure to use

that old Singer in the background is an antique 111W101 walking foot machine, very heavy duty, you could probably sew tires together with it.
